I am sure you understand what I mean - how do we get more TDs and FGs than they do.

Sign Gerrard to a one game contract and watch him scramble for 23 on 4th down like he did in 07?  I still get chills remembering that play.

But really, I don't remember the last time I felt our squad was so unpredictable.  Our defense can play lights out at times and we've seen our O function, to a much lesser extent, as well this season.

In my mind any outcome is just as likely, blow out in our favor, blow out against us, win a close one, lose a close one.

I will say in our favor this year I have much greater confidence in our coaching staff to correct problems from previous games than we've seen in years past.  With the old coaching staff, if we were bad against the run one week, I pretty much expected us to be bad against the run the next week.  This season I think we have a chance to clean up mistakes and improve our weaknesses week to week.

Go Jags!

By getting down the field and either running into the painted area or driving it through the uprights.

Great point, that was about as blatant a hold as you can get on a critical play. I'm also a big hypocrite for as often as I complain about the refs in our games but it felt good to be on the winning side of an obvious no-call lol. I was watching the game with a bunch of squeelers fans though and it didn't stop me from drawing my own penalty for excessive celebration!

If anyone has the time/patience, explain “undercats” to JDub.

Duh, those are cats that are 'under' the table when you place a bet. Everyone knows this.

Concrete thread is concrete. Keep it up guys, I don't want an abstract thought anywhere near this.

I don't see how we sneak out with a win.

The same way teams that are worse than us win. We have a better than expected day and the steelers 'bumble' the game away. ON topic: how about those bee jerseys?

"The painted area" technically can mean between the 40s - way out of scoring range. Get it?

Driving it through the uprights better mean PATS more often than FGs.
The official Jaguars injury report:

It Really wasnt as blatant as Steelers fans seem to believe, also technically it shouldve never came down to that play in the first place because of another botched call by the refs that went against us in that game:

on 3rd and goal from inside the 5, Hines Ward has his hand inside Brian Williams facemask trying to get some bush league seperation and somehow someway the refs inexplicably call a facemask penalty on Brian Williams even though he's the one who was having his facemask jerked around. so instead of the steelers settling for a FG attempt they get a new set of downs at our 1 yard line and punch the ball in for a score. IIRC before the Garrard 4th and 2 scramble drive we were down by 1 point. If the horrendous call by the refs never happens, then we have the ball with a 3 point lead and never even need to go for it on that 4th down.

In hindsight I still think it was a good no call as it seemed Harrison was trying to flop to draw a hold, if the refs hadn't screwed the Jags with a terrible call earlier that situation never happens and we're not discussing this.
Linder ruled out

ugh.

Shatley in the middle I suppose. Reed becomes the back-up at C and RG.
Martavis Bryant is questionable with an illness.

I honestly hope Shatley plays the game of his life and Linder comes back and the play him at RG lol.  Cann is once again the weak link on the oline and I think Linder is a little better at G than center.
I think we get back to winning ways this week..

I don't know how or why, I just do..

Crap. What about Marqise Lee?
Time for Keelan Cole to step up.

It has been time for that since Allen Robinson's last catch. Now it is more important than ever.

I'm not sure Marqise Lee can play center... Cool

Tyler Shatley probably will play center. He has done it before.

Marqiaw Lee is also questionable.
