You might want to give that a day or two...

No way Steelers are firing a coach over one game. That's just not how they roll. That front office is very patient, maybe even to a fault.
I've read where a lot of Steelers fans want Tomlin gone.

If you lost to Gus tho, you deserved to be fired. He was like the litmus test of 'is it the coach or the players' for other bad teams. You win, your coaching is prob alright even if they are having a losing season. You lose and your coach definitely sucked.
That's the way I would prefer it. This team is young and has to keep it up before we get national media respect anyway. They will get there in time but for now what is wrong with the under the radar role?

OC Haley fired. We are not passed it.

They don't need to keep up the play good one game, play like garbage the next game, etc etc.

week 1 played great.
week 2 played like junk.
week 3 played great.
week 4 played like junk.
week 5 played great.

Which team is going to show up in week 6?

Pretty much this. We are leading the division though and should be talked about. Especially with Fournette's big game. Usually they eat that stuff up when a rookie goes off.
Gus got Coughlin fired didn't he?

Hey, thanks for the behind the scenes work you did getting us this forum. I'm not sure who else was involved but if you could pass it on that would be cool. Living way up north (Wisconsin now), this forum has been my connection to the Jaguars for 15 years.
Complaining about respect, feels like 2005-2007 again.
I'd rather have no respect than too much. Look at J J Watt. He's done nothing this year, yet I have to read this twaddle about how Watt's injury is a "big blow" for the entire NFL because he's an icon who can raise $37 million with one tweet.
Terrell Davis was very complimentary. Heath Evans reinforced his bias against the Jags. The recap show with Mooch emphasized Ben's errors while somehow refusing to acknowledge that the D was balling. Just keep winning and all will be fine.
This consistency thing cracks me up. Look at the record of the vast majority of the NFL.

Any given Sunday....
NFL is a big mess this year. Up is down and down is up. KC seems to be one of the few teams that has the peddle to the metal. I really hope the team ignores everything and stops the up and down play.

There are a lot of people who made it happen.  I’ll be sure they recognize the appreciation for their efforts.  Thanks!
Credit to Ian Rappaport this morning. Theywere interviewing him about Ben Roethlisberger, and at the end he said,

"But the other part of it is, credit to this jaguars defense for making him look as bad as he did. They are awesome and this is not the last quarterback they will torment the season."

So, there you go. Some respect from NFL Network.
Respect is overrated.. Don't need anyone to kiss your [BLEEP] and tell ya you're good. Just keep winning..
first time we have a winning record in a long time and you are crying about it lol
I used to feel the same. Now, I'm used to it. And...we haven't been consistent. Lets rattle off 3 straight and then we can feel disrespected.

Not only is the win/loss record bipolar, but all three wins were by at least three touchdowns.

Texans: 29-7
Ravens: 44-7
Steelers: 30-9

This would be enough to earn respect if only a few plays were changed to give a win against the Jets.

We didnt play like junk against the jets, it wasnt a great game but it was a tight NFL game that was lost in OT, and by the way the Jets are 3-2 just like us
