Right, because contracts cause concussions.
Silly thread.

He's had a few ugly drops and isn't quite as consistently open like he has been prior to this season.
But I don't think we've seen enough negative to call the contract into question. He put up some quality production to earn it. Hopefully this downturn is just a blip on the radar that will pass.

Could be. Injuries part of NFL but hasnt looked good for him.

The whole team has been down. I'll reserve judgement for when the team has decent coaching.

I actually will. Cause the fight and challenge is not in him anymore. If it is the contract and being paid. Then next year should try to trade him. And draft another. If it is a mental thing. Then needs to wake up and realize Lee is knocking at his door. He really needs to sit a game to see his constant drops and no longer caring is unacceptable. So lights the passion or fire back.
Because something is very wrong. Same goes for Robinson. Is he still a good receiver yes. Are either top 100 IN NFL still? I don't think so in anyone's eyes.

Bad coaching puts players out of position to make plays. He hasn't been producing this year, but he produced pretty well up to now so I wouldn't be cutting him yet.

He's been surpassed by Lee as the #2 at this point

I think he's playing hurt like he did last year, maybe a few weeks rest would do him well.
Arob is a bigger concern to me though but I think his is a combination of just having the yips, how often blake has been throwing ducks and his confidence isn't as good as it was last year. More than likely I think him and hurns both are frustrated with how poorly blake has been throwing. I just get the vibe that the team isn't quite as close to blake as a team should be. They all want to win and have the talent to win and blake is literally [BLEEP] the bed and imploding before our eyes.
I think we have to take one of the athletic qbs coming out next year, relatively early. If dalvin cook or fournette are on the board maybe them too, but blake needs to have some legitimate competition next year as well as some professional help.

Agreed. This isn't about one player. It's an all encompassing mess right now that won't have an opportunity to be fixed until this season is over and we can sweep those corners clean.

So another wasted season when we could have gotten rid of him last season.

Hurns had a big time drop early in the game.

I can still hear the echo of people saying he had to have a chance to show what he can do with a decent roster.

He hasn't been a major factor this year.

I don't know what makes me a bigger masochist, the fact I watch these games every sunday, or the fact I come here to read what some of your morons think about the result.
Either way, I'll see yall next week, same time, same place.

Umm nobody on offense has. Robinson / Hurns have both been horrible, can't even catch the balls that Bortles does manage to get to them. Run game has been bad, TE's not used / non existent.. etc...
New coaching staff or bye bye next year too.
11-06-2016, 09:12 PM
Whole offense is terrible, aside from today's running game. I'm wholeheartedly done with bortles after watching him load a tribuchet to throw a 4 yard out.

He made the game winning play to beat the clots in London. Last week be made a hell of a catch while being laid out to dry -- the hit he took was insane, and he still held on to it.
Was this game his best? No. But he's been the most consistent wr on this team all season.
On a side note, lee has also begun to impress.
