Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette on whether he will be ready to play Sunday against the Colts after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday: “I think I am … most definitely”
John, we already knew he would play.
I could see him going for a 80 yard td in the 4th versus colts.

My name isn't John, it's Jaxson.

Not even 1 single person knew? That's really impressive.
I'm waiting for a player to say "least definitely."

"Yeah, I mean..."
fournette says "mose definitely" 10 times per interview.
I think it might be a good time to test our RB depth by sitting Leonard and activating TJ. No reason for #27 to be dinged all season if a couple weeks rest can get him back to 100%.

Why sit him in an important division game?

If you have been following along, you know why: for his own sake, as his short and long term health is more important than statistics. We don't need him to beat a bad team.

We need every player available for every game that we play.  If he's medically cleared to play he needs to play.  That's what he gets paid for.  You don't hold out players or "rest" them in the middle of the season.

I was just answering the question. My preference is for him to play on a snap count.

He is still questionable on the injury report.
