Carson Palmer broke his arm today and is out 8 weeks.  This means when we go to the desert we will face a Drew Stanton led offense.  I have a hard time believing he'll be able to do much against our secondary.
In a perfect world....they would start Blaine Gabbert....

There would be a fetal shaped hole in the turf behind the center before halftime

David Johnson will bail him out. We don't go to Arizona until Week 12.

Technically, Johnson could return in early-November, but the Cardinals aren't pretending that's a possibility. When Johnson first went down, Arians said he hoped to have him back by Christmas. Week 12 is probably a long shot. and if they aren't challenging for a playoff spot... I'd leave him IR'd (personally)

I did not read anything about a Week 16 return. The Cardinals obviously want him back as soon as he can be medically cleared. Of course they could be like the Giants and keep him on IR because there is no chance of remaining in playoff contention after Week 10.
