What the heck. I thought he might be a rising star this year. Now for at least the 2nd week in a row, he's inactive in spite of being healthy.

He's just not that good. Last year he was good at returning punts only. This year he hasnt. And after his fumble and fielding the punt at the one yard line moves against the raiders, there is no reason to keep him active now.
He may have just had a bad practice or two. (dropped balls, muffed punts etc) Who knows? Lee and Walters are available for return duty.
Plus, Benn has just been playing well and they like his size.
Guess he can't comment on how the team plays.....again
Greene was a very good punt returner last year. Now Lee is clearly better at the job.

Strange. I feel like I'd still rather have him than Walters back there. At least Greene has the ability to return. Walters is the same as a fair catch.

I was surprised Walters was put on the field to be the punt returner in Chicago.

You said he's on the active roster. There's a difference between the active roster and the 53 man roster.
It's got to be a clear message to Greene from the team to step his game up.

Teams "activate" players from IR, PUP, NFI, and suspension lists and the PS. So in a way they are the same thing.
