More good news for #Jaguars[Image: NFL_2017_JAXJaguars_v2.png]: They've acquired Bengals' 2018 7th Rd pick per conditions of Chris Smith trade. Will still have 7 picks in 2018

What about the pick from Julius Thomas, plus I don't thi no we lost the pick that we traded for Albert

We took Marquez Williams with that pick.

How about the Bowanko trade? Didn't they also get a 6th rounder for him which would give us 8 picks. These late round picks are unlikely to make the team next year, anyway, but they could use a 6th and 7th to move up in an earlier round if there's a guy they really like- especially a quarterback or tight end.

The Brandon Albert trade condition was playing three games. Because he did not, the trade was voided and we still have that seventh round pick.
The later round picks have value, besides taking a late round gamble, you can use them to nudge up in the earlier rounds for a targeted player. I like picks.

It's a 2019 draft pick.
We will also be giving up a 6th (or possibly a 5th) to Buffalo for Dareus.
