I could take all the losing if we had a coach that has the list of quotes that John McKay has.  The after game interviews and press conferences would be pure gold and must see TV.  The NFL needs more coaches with a sense of humor.

In just two days....

Changing the OC...the team has responded, the meetings are better and the atmosphere is electric.

hackett has charged up this offense with his very presence as OC

and bbint has changed....CHANGED...

 

Just begs the question ...gus you doofus...if this all happened why did you wait so long?

It's gonna get off the ground before it crashes again. We've been crashed off that cliff for 4 years now and immobilized.

very possible with all of that outstanding leadership, instruction, and discipline Gus gave Gus. I mean Gus has that outstanding overall record.

Based on multiple reports over the years, we're the best PRACTICE team in the league. Unfortunately, it's game day that counts.

I hope Gus finally starts acting like a coach and instills focus and discipline like he should have been doing since he got hired.  Then most, if not all these things don't happen.

I didn't have the energy or desire to look it up, but can anyone remember the last time the Jags were underdogs by 5 or more points and won the game?

Dang troops just went into Vietnam and couldn't win the battle.   It had nothing to do with the incompetence of the Leaders (aka Decision Makers).

I understand he feels he's being positive but when he says that week after week, yeah it starts getting on your nerves when you see no results.  Just once I'd like to have him come out and say something like, "Ok.  We practiced hard but really looked bad on a few plays.  We'll need to really step it up this week or we're gonna get our rear ends handed to us.  Blake needs to play a heckuva lot better and I mean starting today."  I'd probably applaud.
