Gipsons leg was on the RBs leg as he recovered the ball and got up from the ground, the problem is the broadcast only showed that angle twice.

What does that have to do with anything???
He was laying on his leg. Gained control of the ball, then stood up. Was already down by contact at that point due to his rear end being on the RBs leg.

What happened as he stood, after he stood etc is irrelevant, as he was down the moment he gained possession as he was actively in Co tact with the RB at the moment of recovery, while also on the ground.

^^^ This.  The announcers we're just plain wrong on their view

Agreed.
[BLEEP].. Video doesn't show that. You may think he was on his leg but you can't see it so the [BLEEP] call should be inconclusive.

Maybe you didn't see it... But as multiple people in this thread DID see, on two of the replays you could, quite clearly, see it.

Edit: I didn't realize I was quoting a Tacks fan, who's arguing a call should have gone the Jags way... Today has been weird...

That guy isn't a Titans fan he's a troll. What Titan fan would argue against Jaguars fans when a call doesn't go there way that just sounds silly Tongue
The NFL league offices wanted us to loss, they are the ones who make that decision now not the ref on the field.

The false start on Cam Robinson was even worst, 4th and 1 and you force the other team to jump offsides and the OL moves, its always on the defense in any game NFL or collage that was a joke.
The call on the field was a TD. There was NOTHING indisputable to overturn that... that was just the refs and NFL pulling a hose job on the Jaguars. I've seen some horrible calls and know it's part of the game but these idiots called referees make me question the integrity of the league itself. There should be checks and balances.. total bs.
Should incidental contact be enough to consider a player down?

Im a realisic Titan fan. Jaguars fans are complete homers.
I’m with J-Mizzal. That “false start” on 4th & 1 was even worse than the Gipson call

Yup that and Allen flat running at Telvin and there oline men wrapping there arm under our D linemens neck as they ran past them all game.

The Refs were more of a joke this game then most and thats saying a lot.

Wait were homers because we're not upset that a call didn't go our way? Did you eat a lot of paint chips as a kid?

Yep.  That was pitiful.
They were showing the close up shots tonight, while it is close enough that the call should have stayed, he appears to be touching his leg. Was pretty fired up at the time, but at least we got it done in the end.

See the image posted above.  It's not even close, honestly.  He rolled his butt over Eckler's leg as he recovered it.

That is the angle I saw, but it was not a screen shot. Worse than I thought.

It's odd defending any call the refs made after that game... But hey, gotta stay objective I guess lol
