Anyone out there that might be a boom or bust vet signing if hurns is out for the year? Getting pretty thin at WR.
Seriously can’t believe WR is an issue for us. We had arguably the best WR group in the NFL, now it’s probably depleted to just Marquise for a couple weeks. I’m assuming Hurns has an ankle injury.
Hurns is tough I don't think he'll miss too much time. Fournette looked hobbled in the second half and might explain our pass happy offense. Offensive line is a mess. Luckily we play the Browns this week.

Not necessarily.

Wolfie, crutches are a precaution to prevent motion so that the swelling can subside.  Guys with ankle sprains normally get booted up until a more extensive evaluation can be done.
Anyone concerned about Fournette? Marrone in his presser today talked about they noticed Fournette walking with a limp in the game because he rolled his ankle. This is a player who dealt with ankle issues so much in college that people questioned whether he had a "loose ankle" which is correctable but takes much time sometimes even surgery to tighten up ligaments. The weather is getting colder, and games are only going to be more punishing on the body. This seems to be a lingering injury for him. It isn't time to panic about it, but honestly I am a little concerned about his ankle for the remainder of this season.

his knee is likely done Sad

Unless his knee somehow is attached to his ankle, your expert medical opinion is wrong.

Sadly, you'll have to find another injury to melt down over.

I'm not sure if I'm really concerned.  I don't think he was 100% coming into the game.  If he rolled his ankle, I suspect it wasn't anything too serious and they could have put a spat on it and taped him up.  So, not too concerned, but something to keep an eye on.  With the other backs in the stable, we can limit his exposure considerably if needed.

And considering the run game was all but shut down anyway, why put him on the field if he couldn't be effective?

I agree, but if this is his second aggravation the ankle that's something IMO. Looking at the weather forecast for this Sunday... predicted 34F, 1-4 inches snow, 24 mph winds... this has the makings of a running game all over it (Lord I don't wanna see Blake's wobbles in 24 mph winds). So if 4nette isn't 100% I sure hope they don't trot him out there in those conditions.
