So they made an example of him. Good. Unless the woman was coming after him with intent to kill he had no business assaulting her. He may not be a number one star player (which many are complaining about the double standard) but at least HE knows his behavior will not be tolerated. Now hopefully he doesn't go back and make it worse for her. She wanted to drop the charges but the police said they were going after him.
