Why cant people realize our defense is the best in the league and that defense is half of the on field product?

I dont get it
Just win, baby
Who is Walter?

and why do we give two flips what he thinks?
This guy's hate goes back to Jacksonville not grabbing Tebow. He was calling it a sure thing at the time, and when he was wrong he developed this agenda. We could have Brady under center, and he would slam us for using a 40 year old quarterback.
Wally has us drafting in the high 20's in his 2018 mock yet just said we over achieved and will win 3-4 games next year.

Gold. Pure gold.

Bryan Walter(s), still mad he didn't make the team this year
We could win the SB and Walter would still say we'll got 2-14 the following year

He thinks we're trading up from 32?  I wonder who will be there for us.

The great thing about the win is that that this is a game we would have lost the last few years.  Good teams find a way to win even when they don't play their best.

Absolutely. Titans and jags playoff takeover

That's based on this year's results. Now if he said 2019 draft, then ok.

Really good article on NFL.com today about the playoff picture, and how the division has flipped.

However, there's still many that whine about our team not getting any "respect" from the national media.  LOL
I don't look to much into what any one says whether they say we will have 12 wins, 8 wins, 3 wins. In the NFL its so easy to go from a play off team to a 4 win team. It happens all the time.

I also think people are fools if they "think" any certain game is going to be a blow out.
Had to check the new rankings, moved up 1 spot as did Tennessee to stay 1 ahead of us.

not saying I agree with walters....

But there is still a fear that we could implode. Our defense is legit, I have no fear in the defense.

My fear is that we implode into a team with a great defense but an offense that cant move the ball and turns the ball over.

Those fears would be resolved with a better QB... HOWEVER... good QB's are tough to find and even tougher to keep healthy. Look around the NFL, we aren't the only team with a questionable QB. If Walters is gonna bash us for the shaky QB play, then all he is really saying is he only likes teams with an elite QB... IT DOESNT TAKE A NFL ANALYST TO MAKE THAT STATEMENT.

Dude missed his calling... don't know what his calling is... but he missed it.
What indication is there that this team would implode? For a team to implode they would have to be shaky. This defense isn't shaky and it's not like we have an amazing quarterback we rely on like the Green Bay Packers where if he gets hurt we fall apart. We lost our best receiver in the first game and still kept chugging along.

The teams confidence is continuing along, business like and there's no sign of it slowing down. Implosion is possibly the worst word I would use on what would happen to this team.

for the reasons I just said. We have a strong run game but the chargers shut it down. Anytime you are one dimensional your offense is gonna be fragile, and when the run game gets shut down we are in danger of becoming a turnover machine.

That is a problem with the offense that our defense has been mostly able to hide. Our vertical passing game is inconsistent and lately we've been having problems getting into the end zone.  The inability to stretch the field is why the running game can be hampered to some degree.
