if our previous coaches did nothing to address his drinking problem, just goes to show you how stupid this team really is

I'm so tired of all these "reporters" and posters with their "friend of a friend" and "sources".

 

I want people to start naming sources and showing proof otherwise I'm chalking it up as a bold face lie.

I don't care if you're JagsfanonMB or Ian Rappaport.

 

It is ridiculous to be like "I heard Gus Bradley is gonna get fired from an unnameable source"

And then when that inevitable crap happens it's all "See I broke that news first"

And when the news doesn't happen it is swept under the rug.

 

If your source wants to remain nameless maybe they should just keep their mouth shut in the first place.

 

If Bortles has some sort of drinking problem and hid it through 3 years of college and 3 seasons of the NFL.....

(Also threw for 35 TDs and a bunch of yards while apparently always drunk/hungover)

Bortles issue is he needs to keep working on his mechanics for years until its routine for him, his drinking has nothing to do with him struggling, he isnt Johnny Football, plenty of players drink and hangout all night

Not exactly. The point was to add to the long list of "stories" that people have about Bortles out drinking. Again I reiterate, he's a young guy, I get that he wants to go out, but I also kind of question that kind of behavior when it happens frequently and during the season. I'm not part of the Jaguars staff, so my say doesn't matter, but if I were I'd make it very clear that the players are being well compensated and get their little vacation time in the off-season. Football season is for focusing on the game they get paid to play.

My "source" doesn't really have any stake in the game. While he may not want to be named... I don't really know, and I didn't ask. Just figured I'd share regardless because I like to gossip. Take it for what you will.
