I respect the team, because They are good, great qb, great coaching, make perfect personnel desicions, but damn.
I hate the patriots. I am really sick of hearing about them every year. From a general fan perspective, what they have done over the last decade or so is impressive no doubt, but unless you are a Pats fan. It just gets old.
Every team has dips and peaks, but these guys have been on a really long peak. Im ready for it to be over. Brady will retire some day and it will be a holiday for me.
Preach. I don't mind the long term fans. They get respect after putting up with some garbage teams. It's the fans who jumped on when they started winning and have never known losing. They're annoying.
someday someone will end the pats playoff streak, and that somebody will be the jags when it happens. the question is just when. When that happens to the jags will start winning a lot more, and people won't like them.
I grew up watching them with my dad being from Rhode Island and a life long fan. When we got the Jags they became my team. I still enjoy the Pats but I agree, it gets repetitive hearing about how awesome they are every year.
I don't mind, I wish the Jags were that good, and after Brady is gone the league will be generally less interesting. I would love for the Jags to beat them in the playoffs. Other teams have done it occasionally. It would be cool if we did. At the same time I admire Tom Brady and what he has done and is doing. Right up to the point where he plays the Jags, that's when I am no longer a fan.
I feel the same way about Drew Brees as well. These guys are all time greats, we only get to see so many. It would be nice if the Jags could get one at QB too.
Tired of them but if it isn't liked, do something about it. They will be who they are until their not.
The only way to beat the cheatriots. Have to go full speed with them for entire 60 minutes.

You don't say.
To touch on HandsomeRob's post, I actually think the league will be MORE interesting once Brady is done. There will be so much more parity in the AFC, especially that division. With Ben likely done after this year, and when Brady is done, you won't he abkr yo pencil the Pats/Steelers in for top seeds anymore.
The issue is they have one really good deep receiver and the slot and TE are monsters nearly every year. Whether no name or house hold.
And pick up older players who are experienced in playoffs and really good for key plays.
One thing they don't have is coughlin. The man beat um over and over again.
