^ Me too. I also prefer Ivory, but we're in the minority for that. Most people like Yeldon better (he's good too). But Yeldon is having ball security issues so far in the games he's played this year.
Every time he touches it, I'm waiting for a bobble or fumble. Every time.
*to be fair, Ivory was that guy last year with the fumblitis. But he seems to protect it pretty well now.
Ivory is so bad. I do not understand what makes some people like him better. Is it the fact that he's averaging aroud 3 yards a carry, or the fact that he brings nothing to the passing game besides screens? Yeldon is just a much more diverse and useful player. Best receiving back we have, best blocking back we have. Backup running backs should only be carrying it 5-8 times a game. I can't see how if someone had to choose between the two would choose the guy who would carry it a handful of times over the guy who can also do that and add other dimensions to the offense.
Yup Yeldon worries me with the fumbles. He seems to be a better change of pace than Ivory but he needs to hold that rock.
Ivory is more useful in a “wear em down” type of game. With the current status of our running attack, I think Yeldon is the better choice.
He gives you real WR-like route running and catching ability.
Yeldon is still on the roster because of his blocking ability, otherwise, I would tend to lean towards Grant as the change of pace back.
I think Ivory blocks better than Yeldon

Corey Coleman was pushing off Ramsey all game. That's why he was complaining. Refs weren't calling it so the only way to try and counter getting pushed is to play off. Coleman is still a good WR he just doesn't have a great Qb throwing to him. But yeah...all those curl and comeback routes.. Coleman pushed off pretty much every completion so Ramsey gave him some space to counter. We still haven't earned the respect to get the benefit of calls...which shows when we have two fumble recoverys that should have been TDs nullified..3 actually counting the Rams game.
