Quote:Maybe the reason they come across as negative is because there is nothing good to cheer about?

Only people who don't watch any Jaguars games have nothing to cheer about.

I live in Southern California so I don't have a chance to watch many Jaguars games. So you are saying even when we win, I can't cheer for my team?
Nothing is gained by winning this game.

That statement was aimed at people who think there is nothing to cheer about when they do watch the games because they want to take a negative POV about everything.

Who are you talking to?
Quote:haven't seen this anywhere else:

Smith out Sunday, Foles to start Sunday.  Tyler Bray will be the QB2.

Here's hoping we can get the Defense going and Bortles gets out of his funk.
Foles 300+yards and 100+QBR book it
Those negative are taking over the board.   However to say nothing to cheer about?  Being a team as one of 32 nfl cities is reason to cheer.  All the great things khan is doing like increased wifi, great billboard, a nice pool, and trying to right the ship.   Yet they call Khan a bonehead really?

We could win or lose.  However if we keep it close and competitive that is a start.  Win or loss.

rather we think the team is going to win,or lose we still support them. We should cheer them on. as most of you know we live in north caronlina, and we go to sports bar every sunday to watch the jags. I still choose to go with my dad saying every sunday don't you ever get tired of this every week comeing, and watching them lose. my answer is yes,but at same time i always hope one week they win,and start a winning streak. I saw the interview with our new OC. I get a good feeling about him,he could be jags new HC come next year. He looks like he has a lot more exminiment then we have seen out of gus. only time will tell.

FYI... FiveThirtyEight has the Chiefs favored by 15 points. That is the largest spread they predict all season.

Honestly, I just want them to look like an NFL team right now.

There are only 31 NFL cities FYI.
This game is a little harder to determine, a decent amount of times a new OC revitalizes your offense at least for a game or 2. But Andy Reid is one of the best game planning coaches in the league. I don't think we win, but our offensive steps up and shows decent improvement for the first time this year.

It depends on what changes are made and how quickly we can make those adjustments. We are in a "breaking the ice" period and will have to implement changes gradually. Hackett can't throw a playbook at Blake and say, "This is what we are doing." Change takes time. For the Bills this year and Lions last year, it was not a problem and the offenses make quick turnarounds. We can still hope for some of that, but being at KC, I would not expect an offensive explosion.
I would still bet the over on KC scoring 30 Sunday. Foles is serviceable and Reid is 100000x the coach wonder bus Gus is.

good catch jets/giants got it. Both play in Jersey yet call them self New York.

It is like Miami, Washington, Dallas, San Francisco, Buffalo, and Los Angeles. They are not actual NFL cities either.

Well, only the 'skins actually play in a different state  than their names like the NY teams.

But those others do play in cities other than their names suggest.

And people shorten New York City to New York, so there's that.

I'm glad the Boston Patriots changed their name to New England and the St. Louis Cardinals changed their name to Arizona.
Another doozy for the Jaguars. 38-10 KC

Being a fan for this team right now is like being a Catholic in a broken marriage. It sucks waking up everyday into this situation, but you don't believe in divorce and you want to stick it out for the kids.
