Even this season, Andre Johnson had a huge impact, with his eventual game winning TD reception against the Lions in week # 2. That was a big time play for the likely future HOFer. Great career! Also, a reminder of one of Matt Millen's worst decisions in drafting Charles Rogers over Andre Johnson in 2003.

Hats off to him. Don't like the idea of mid-season retirement, but I'm sure he has his reasons.
A truly phenomenal player whose career I'm grateful to have been able to witness.

He is among the rarest of the rare at his position.
