As soon as I hit enter on that I realized how much better coaching is this year.   Under Bradley there was no such thing as adjustments or regrouping and coming out stronger in the second half.

Very true.  This is not a team coming out of the break and falling apart. Nice to see them making the necessary adjustments.  This is a team that has now figured out how to win games rather than just hoping to get better.
I dont think he is coach of the year the doing a great job. Probably the top AFC coach but a few in the NFC more impressive.

What do you think is more impressive than a new head coach turning around a 3-13 team with bortles as qb that hasn't made the playoffs in a decade?
Sean McVay is orchestrating a similar turnaround in LA. Is anybody else even a COY candidate at this point?
Maybe what's his face in New Orleans? They're not making Brees do it all there this year. Zimmer in Minnesota maybe?
Oh yeah, Philly has improved quite a bit, so I guess their coach would be a contender.
Zimmer, he lost 2 Qbs, rb, and Diggs half the year. They were only supposed to win 8 games when healthy. The Rams are a bigger surprise also they do not have the talent that we do.
If the jaguars win the division he has to be coach of the year.

The lambs have not seen the level of ineptitude the jags have had. They haven’t won much either but have won more than us and have even drafted great players. We haven’t even done that much until recently. If he does something crazy like win 12 games, with Bortles and wins the division he should win it hands down. They’ll snub him only because I see a lot of personal accolades for this team coming. Tom or Caldwell should get executive of the year. We should have about 2-3 all pro players, coach of the year, rookie of the year possiblly, defensive player of the year possibly, and about 8-10 pro bowlers, with a division title.

I’m sure they won’t give one team all of that especially not the jags

Nah. If they get a 2 seed I can see it but right now McVay and Zimmer have the top 2 spots I would assume.

I think because they won’t like to give the jags the accolades I agree. But the Viking went to the playoffs in 2015 and went 8-8 last year. They have been trending for sometime now they just have more visibility with Rodgers being hurt. If Aaron is there, they don’t win the division. The rams have made a major turnaround but they look to be slowing down. They are the 4th seed And have to division games coming up. They could legit miss the playoffs or get in a sixth seed.

The jags have been browns bad for a while now. This turnaround is the shocker in the league. Anyone telling you they though the jags would win and be the third best team in the AFC is lying. To win how we’re winning with arguable the worst qb in the league is a miracle. Couple that with managing this team properly and having a historic level defense...

If everything holds steady the way its playing out, of Marrone doesn’t win COY, it was a snub

Meh. Not buying it. We lost Arob the whole year. They still had runningback despite losing a rookie. And their qb is playing good and has always been a capable qb so I give the player credit Morethan the coach. Viking have been a solid team for a while and usully have an average Qb. Rams despite the record past couple years were a tough team and their turn around is because of qb play. Not sure if coaching should get all the credit for his devolpment since he was still a talented top pick. Eagles have been solid for awhile and have a great qb. Saints have had same coach in place for years now with elite qb and talent at rb and wr
To me it boils down to which coach is having the biggest impact on their team.

To me that’s Marrone. The majority of this team was here last year. You added a few pieces on defense and now all of a sudden they are playing at a historic level being top ranked in almost every important statistical category. The offense with a makeshift line, poor qb play and a rookie running back with injuries to the wideout corp has the number 1 rushing attack, top 10 offense and top 11 in points scored. What would he do with a quality offense with healthy wideouts, better linemen and better qb play?

The side of the ball with all the talent is playing at a historic level and the side of the ball with hardly any talent is still better than 2/3rds of the league. If that’s not coach of the year material after winning the division, hell even making the playoffs after a 3 win year I don’t know what is
At the very least, there's nobody in the AFC that could steal votes from Marrone at this point. It's pretty much him vs several NFC candidates to date.
a/saints/rams/eagles are all doing good and should be considered but idk how you can deny a coach in his first year pull this kind of turnaround from being a joke in this league into a dangerous team going into the playoffs. All with a qb we are not impressed with. And despite that, marrone has made bortles less of a liability with massive improvements in his decision making. All the other teams have solid to elite quarterbacks. Keenum is playing good, maybe because of coaching but he has always been a serviceable qb in this league

This is straight truth.  There shouldn't be much doubt for this award if a  3 win team can make the playoffs the very  next year with a new head coach. Rams are on the same level with a 4 win season last year but their division was tough but more importantly their top pick qb is playing like a top pick
Bradley had 12 wins with the Jags. Marrone has 8 wins with the Jags

.... just sayin'
