The hope for the Chiefs is Darrelle Revis' injuries are no longer an issue with the time away from the playing field. At a low risk contract figure, it seems like the signing is favorable from a risk/reward standpoint.

Is he going to play corner? I think he'd make a solid FS at this point.

Though it's just speculation on my part, I would say yes for at least the next few weeks because Darrelle Revis didn't have a training camp and pre-season to get reps/ snaps at FS.

If any staff is capable of actually finding use from him at this point - it's Reid's - but..... too late me thinks.

Though Darrelle Revis certainly isn't the player he was several years ago, being back with Defensive Coordinator Bob Sutton is a plus. Sutton's familiarity with Revis beyond his physical ability should help with the transition to the Chiefs at this stage of the season.

Revis was a liability last year with the Jets, opponents were abusing him. I understand trying to bring in an experienced veteran for the playoffs but I think at this point he doesn't have much to offer. We'll see.

I'd rather take a punt in Revis than any other FA DB out there.
