Dont let the record fool you. Their not as bad as the Whisenhunts & Gus Bradleys of the world but their not more than mediocre coaches that could win you a playoff game. Both coaches are benefitting from great talented rosters. Both are horrible at game managing. The only good coach in this division is Bill O’Brien, a true QB whisperer.
Hahahahaha..... hahaha..... hahaha.... ha..... oh..... You're serious.

You’ll find out this sooner rather than later, just like how all the Titans fans were saying Mularkey was a good coach because of our record last year.

How do you find time to peel yourself off of your cousins long enough to post?

Marrone would coach circles around mullarkey.

Marrone isn't good enough to make miracles happen and actually turn Mariota into a franchise QB or anything, but he gets the most out of his guys.
This is such a dumb post. Just because he made one bad call at the end of the game doesn't mean he's a bad coach. He's massaged this offense into a manageable bunch this year. He's done a pretty amazing job with the turnaround in year one. Mularkey is what he's always been.
I don’t think it’s fair to write off Maronne yet. Give him at least this season
Obvious troll is so obvious. It's our board Mods.... take it back for us.

Yeah he was a great coach that Buffalo didnt want. Makes sense:

With the talen the JaX have they should be winning all their games, and make it to the SB - but I doubt this will happen. It will be one and done in the playoffs (thanks to the talent) if you enjoy mediocrity you’ll enjoy Marrone & Mularkey. But they will never take their team to the AFC title game or sb. They’ll be decent enough to get stick around. Example; Jeff fisher

Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

BAH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAidiot
Marrone and mularky both have the same problem, they don't have a franchise QB.

Both of them wouldnt know how to utiliaze a mobile QB. Both of them would use lame formations and spread 2 WR sets the whole entire game.

Easy there bud
I don't think either one is a BAD coach. Neither one is a top coach though.
This is the quality thread we get when people drunk post.

IDK man. Maronne has everything one could want in a coach. Not too high not too low. Maintains order within locker room. Game plans well and doesn't make bone headed mistakes from coaching perspective in game.

Coach of the Year candidate, imo.
Top 5-10 coach in the league probably.

I think coach of the year is between 3 guys right now JAGS , RAMS, EAGLES

two of the teams have not been good in forever and one team has not been good lately. But I think Jags team has had the biggest swing from bad to good.
Depending on the run they make, Marrone will prove himself to be a very good head coach. He's not a bad head coach at all. He has figured out what buttons to push to keep this team focused on the moment at hand.

Meanwhile, Mularkey's resurrection in Nashville is collapsing, and the team is spinning into irrelevance.

I'll take our guy, who should be in consideration for coach of the year honors.
One would have to rationalize away the stark reality of the Jags drastically improving their record and on-field performance along with a complete change in culture among the players and coaches in order to call Marrone a bad HC.

The more I think about it the more idiotic it sounds.

The man is in the conversation for coach of the year honors and some troll is calling him a bad HC.

Whatever.
