Had to go back and look to be honest....I think he was just pointing out that it has to suck losing to a team quarterbacked by a guy you ran out of town.  Obviously Gabbert and Bortles weren't the only players on the field, but the sting is very much real based on some of the comments I've seen on the board.

And I'm not really a troll.  I've been a regular poster here for a few years.  Lived in Jax for a few years in the late 90's , so I at least have some connection to the town.  I own it when my team sucks, and I try to be semi respectful.  Only one I was ever overtly rude to was probably JW, but I wasn't alone there, brother lol.

I know youre not, you and J.F. are the only 2 who post win or lose.

You are correct! ! Mike Jones says hello. That is assuming you are old enough to remember the game.

BTW, not "everyone is literally moving here."  Not according to the actual list.

Interesting to see which city is #5.  I guess #20 is laudable, especially considering most of the growth is coming from cousins loving cousins.

I always find it rich when people in Jacksonville talk [BLEEP] about Nashville.  Sort of like Michael Moore making fun of Roseanne Barr for being a fat [BLEEP].  I've lived in both cities, and brother, Jacksonville (aka south Georgia) is as redneck and backward as anywhere else in the South.  Full of pwt.

Forbes seems to think differently.  The truth must really sting, but it's okay.  You can curl up with your sister cousin and comfort each other.   Banana Big Grin

No doubt about that.  Even the most optimistic here were predicting 9-7 or possibly 10-6.  With our remaining schedule, we'll probably match the most optimistic predictions barring a complete collapse.  The Arizona loss sucked, but it wasn't a devastating loss in the grand scheme of things.  They just got outplayed.  Hopefully it lights a fire under these guys the rest of the way to remember that feeling.

In addition to what you mentioned,  losing on the road to an NFC team is probably the least damaging outcome for the Jaguars if a loss would occur.  From the standpoint of playoff tiebreakers,  the game this coming Sunday against Indianapolis is far more important for the Jaguars.   Learning from the mistakes of the Cardinals game and hopefully getting some injured players back should go along way in helping the Jaguars getting back on track.

At least from my perspective,  a separate thread for this topic is a good idea.  Considering how far the Jaguars have already come this season,  especially in context of the previous 9 seasons,  it makes plenty of sense to reinforce the progress the team and overall franchise has made.

The linebacker who saved the Rams Super bowl win over Tennessee with a tackle at the 1.

It's horrible that St. Louis lost their 2nd NFL team for reasons beyond fan support.  But the memories of the ending of that Super Bowl will remain.  I can't think of a more clutch tackle in the history of the NFL.

I honestly think the twinks are walking into an EverBank buzzsaw this weekend.

I will say this, didn't read other's posts or care to.. I would take Blaine Gabbert TODAY over Mariota or Bortles. When your beloved Titans get blown out by Arizona, I am going to remember this thread.
Gabbert has established himself as a very good backup. Imd take him over 25 other teams backup QBs.

They're curiously quiet today as well.  Wonder why?
"Did you guys really lose to Blaine Gabbert?"

Yes. And so did you!

HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Hey, but they did score A touchdown.
Damn homie

I'd say that joke came up a few inches short, at least the tackfans cousinwifes are used to such treatment.
Cardinals matchup very well against us and the Tacks. Good thing they aren't in our division.

I am a Jags fan but I am a realist, unlike 99% of the people here.

Facts:

Titans beat the Jags already and are likely to do it again and win the division
Jags are not as good as people in this board think, we are likely to make the playoffs but that's it.
Bortles sucks and even Gabbert is better.
Doesn't matter who Titans lost to, they beat us.
Steelers would beat the c... out of the Jags right now.
Mularkey has the same record as Marrone and you could say Marrone has a better roster.

And who took the tacks out of the playoff last year? Who was coach at that time?  As a realist.  I believe we really did beat the steelers.   Now does Blake stink.  Absolutely.   Better than gabbs?  Did you actually watch gabs play?  Or just the high lights?  I am the icon aka hall of fame message board poster teal time radio.

I have been. A die hard fan since 95.  And seen every version of our team.  And do you want to put ya money where ya mouth is.  I got a 100 bucks saying we whoop the dog crap out of the tacks week 17.

Care to back it up?

Ps. Caldwell/Coughlin have a better roster.   But as a jags fan figured ya know that tough guy.
