My two cents in dealing with similar type of situations with my favorite team is everyone who is a Jaguars fan should do what's best in your particular circumstance.   People are different from one another.  IMO,  it won't make you less of a fan of the Jaguars if you don't watch all or part of games when you have the opportunity to do so.  

 

Having said all of this,  I take the approach that FBT does.  Regardless of record.  incompetence of organization,  or the caliber of play,  I'm doing everything possible to watch every moment of the games.    That doesn't lessen the pain.   But I'm the type of person who needs to know what's going on and want to enjoy whatever good moments occur in games.

I'll be watching, and hoping I was all wrong about all the things I was saying during the week and a half prior.

My kids like watching football with me. I was getting frustrated during the Raiders game. My 6 year old told me, "It's okay Daddy, they're doing their best".


So, as much as it pains me, I'll watch for the sheer joy they get when the Jags DO do well.

With olson gone, I'm intrigued now. I'll watch if I can.

I might just watch the offensive and defensive highlights..........I've got 30 seconds to spare.

How does a thread like this make any sense? I mean I understand being frustrated and such as a Jag fan but what in the hell does one hope to accomplish by a thread like this? please enlighten me OP.

Tried to blame last year on the defense....

I haven't supported everything he's done, but feel free to interpret it that way if it makes you feel like you've landed a gotcha.


Last year the defense was the issue. The offense was light years ahead of where it is right now. Much like this year, the offense couldn't get off the field on third downs, allowing teams to extend drives no matter what the down and distance was. That continues. The problem is exacerbated by the offense struggling this year.

I for one can't take my eyes off of this train wreck known as the Gus era.

 

I'll watch at least until halftime but go out and do something more enjoyable like cut grass if we get down by 17+ by halftime.
