If we win out, Pats and Steelers lose one game. We are #1 seed.
If we win Sunday in SF we win division/or TN loss

We'd have to lose our last 2 and the TItans have to win their last 2 to win it. The Rams will make sure we lock up the division they looked scary good again today on the road. If we win out and the Pats or Steelers slip up a game we pass them. Not likely because their schedule is a joke. Or at least the Steelers schedule is... Browns/Texans. Pats have 2 divisional games at home.

If either pats or steelers lose one and we win out we have number 2 seed.

Right. But if they both lose. #1

Yep.
I think our best chances of seeing either team lose will be Pats vs Buffalo who is fighting for a playoff spot and then Steelers vs Browns who will be fighting like heck to not finish 0-16.
That drop by the Steelers CB was insane...
He might have said it before also, but I KNOW he said it after. Dude can't count or he forgot about us.
AB out until playoffs. Official report: torn leg muscle.

A few random playoff positioning thoughts and scenarios.....
I have to think it's very likely that the Titans lose to the Rams next weekend which means we'd clinch the AFC South before our game against SF kicks off. And even if the Titans figure out a way to pull the upset, we can still win the division with a win against SF. Knock on wood, anti-jinx, but I'll be surprised if we arent AFC South champs by the time next sunday is over. Worst case however we go 10-6. Looking at the AFC West, only the Chiefs can finish at 10-6 and they would have to win out do so. Even if they did, we'd win the tiebreaker so assuming we win the South, our worst case finish is the 3 seed. As others have mentioned we need either the Steelers or Patriots to lose a game if we want a bye. Steelers play texans and browns so I dont see much hope there. Patriots play Bills and Jets. I think the Bills game is our best hope but neither really seem likely. Barring an upset we almost seem like a lock for the 3 seed. Looking at the Ravens remaining schedule, colts and bengals at home, pretty good chance they finish 10-6. If so they'll lock in the 5 seed and play the AFC West champ... which the Chiefs seem to have all but locked up. Leaving us with the 6 seed against Titans, Chargers, Bills, Raiders, or Dolphins. Raiders have two tough games remaining and Dolphins need a lot of the other teams to lose so those two are the least likely. Playing around with the ESPN playoff machine, a lot of combinations of 9-7 between Titans, Bills, and Chargers. Titans and Chargers seem to win the majority of them. Bills only win a tiebreaker if all 3 are 9-7 with the Titans beating the Rams and losing to us. Not sure Titans finish with 9 wins though so if it's 9-7 between just Bills and Chargers, looks like the Chargers are in. Of all those teams, Chargers are the one I'd least like to play. Tough matchup for us and they believe they can play with us... the other teams might be a little intimidated. I'd also rather not play the Titans for a third time if we could avoid it. Of the teams most likely in, would love to see Ravens or Bills.

We own the TB over everyone ahead of us, if we were to finish all at 12-4 we would be the 1 seed.

Yes. We own h2h with Pittsburgh and we have a better conference record than NE. They'd have 1 more loss in conference.
I think my favorite part about week 17 is going to be that we may be playing to knock Tennessee completely out of the playoffs. What a better way to conclude the 2017 season than send the tacks and their fans to the pit of misery!

Don't they normally film whoever is on Hard Knocks?
I know the last season Rams both were on both HK and then All or Nothing.
Our best hope for help in getting a bye would be the Bills going to New England. Steelers might have a letdown without Brown in Houston who knows. I just want us to keep playing close to what we have been. The offensive line is immeasurably better with the starters in there.
Jags could end up with the number one or number two spots in the AFC. If the Jags win out and either the Pats or Steelers lose one or both, the Jags will get a by and home field advantage... ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?

In one year tournaround. And after so long losing.
Best chance to get a Bye is the Texans vs Steelers or Bills vs Pats. Both are pretty unlikely. I think we get the 3 seed and now it's the race to see who gets the 6.

I'm hoping it's the Bills or Ravens.
I don't want to see the Chargers again (they just seem to have the Jags number, for some reason).
And, I don't want to have to face those dirty tacks two weeks in a row. (Didn't the Jags ruin their hopes last year with a beat down and Mariota getting hurt, IIRC?). I don't like the "Karma" factor coming into play against Jax with them.
C'mon Ravens or Bills!
*assuming the Jags stay seated in the #3 spot

I don't know about the Ravens. Their defense is really good and they are playoff tested. Obviously would like the Bills but I'm on the fence with the Ravens.
Whatever though. We in the playoffs!

I have no idea since I don't watch anything that's not on Prime, Netflix or Hulu. You could be right though.
