This happens to me far too often, I click on a link like this one :  http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/niners...ay-thread/ 

It will open, I begin to read and as soon as I scroll down to the next post the page locks up.  I can see in the lower right left corner things are down loading.  Pretty sure it is the ads associated with the page.  Is there anyway to block these ads because I lose patience and just close the page.

I use chrome with the adblocker add-on. Works pretty good.

Thanks.  I didn't realize I had to download and then add it.  Kept going to pop up blocker.
