Prediction for next week:

Jags win by 2 touchdowns.
Bortles does not turn the ball over.
Cam Robinson returns and offensive line opens up big holes for Fournette who gains more than 100 yards.
I feel ok about the team and agree with Bullseye. Nothing to Westbrook was working today. I wish they worked Hurns in a bit more too.

After the season we've had I'm still really excited going into the playoffs. There is nothing certain with this team, we can beat anyone and we could lose to anyone. It really depends on how we show up game day.
The offenses inability to convert and score any points killed us. Have to score points to win. Winning solves everything. Bortles had no confidence in the pocket again despite decent protection all day. First time I've seen that in a while this season. His INTs were horrible like he threw falling backwards. We miss Marqise Lee. Was nice to see Hurns get some action and be involved. The offense doesn't have to be great. Just good here and there to stay on the field and put up some actual points. I didn't see any receivers getting open but I didn't really see them trying to make a play for the ball either. That fumble by Cole was stupid. It takes a team effort to win or fail. Offense was epic fail today. But hopefully that just means we can hit our stride and start peaking again at home. We just need to go back to what got us here in the first place.
Westbrook, Mickens and Cole were the problem today. Everyone else played well enough to win.
The rookie came out in our WR corps today. Hopefully it's a learning experience.

Hopefully Hurns will be back on track with a game under his belt and Lee returns.

I didn't think about it in these terms.

I was thinking more that teams have film on how the team uses them and that defenses have adjusted.

But the rookie factor seems as plausible as any explanation for the recent drop off.

This. ^

Mickens' first muffed punt inside our 30 gave them 3 points.

Cole's fumble inside our 30 gave them 3 points.

Westbrook's dropped TD pass cost us 6 points.

That's a 12 point swing and a completely different game.

Did you watch the same game as me? Like how he was under pressure all day and had magnificent footwork, and then had guys fallong into his knees all day. And he kept getting up after getting hit. There where a few throws that where "old blake" but still, you could point to the dede td drop and that's the difference in the game

This was pretty much my take today as well.

I have a pretty fair amount of confidence in 90% of the roster heading into the bills matchup.

The rookies looked like rookies the past couple of weeks too often - and Blake has had a few bad decisions - but this team still has enough in it to advance in the playoffs if they cut out the most of the mistakes and execute on offense a bit more.
Offense looks lethargic and I'm seeing no leadership or accountability to move the ball. The defense played about as well as you could hope. They played conservative and are a good rushing team. I thought we had a good game plan on defense. The offense made their defense look elite. One thing about the perennial good teams in the league is they make every defense looks mediocre and average. Convert 3rd downs most of the time... make some big plays... momentum... it is a real thing. When you don't have it you lack confidence and develop bad tendencies that could effect plays that haven't happened yet. Kind of like we've regressed to.
Confidence booster against the bills. Game will be like a semi bye week. Rest the starters after the 3rd qtr. Going to destroy the bills like the texans, colts games. Going into the Steelers feeling good and the Jags destroyed them earlier. Then onto the show down against the goat brady and the patriots.
No its not, last two games were meaningless
Defense will be electric next week.

Robinson and Lee come back. Lee, Hurns and Cole.

Robinson coming back is huge because Wells was awful today. Look for this team to feel good next week and gain confidence from the crowd.

Yup, the bills were trying to tank trading sammy watkins.  Then they tried a rookie qb nate peterson but he was so terrible they went back to tyrod. Then mccoy is hurt.  Jaguars 72, Bills 0

Are games truly meaningless when your starters play all 60 minutes and you are trying to win?
