Playing at home is...

As is unfurling that Division Champion banner.

I'm just disappointed we were denied the opportunity to trigger mass suicide in Jacksonville after beating them 3 times.  Again.  I guess it technically still could happen, but I don't think we'll make it past Saturday.

I hope you do (spit!), but I think KC will be a tough out at home.

For sure.  Will be a good measuring stick for where we are and where we still need to improve to compete with the cream of the AFC.

Considering the strong possibility of playing the tacks again in a week, do you empty your playbook for them to see in game you absolutely do not have to win? Conversely, the tacks had to pull out all of the stops in that game. From a strategy standpoint, the Jags held all of the cards.

It seemed to me that the offensive playcalling was especially conservative, and this may have been why.

I get the reasoning. But am I misunderstanding that if we beat the Tacks they miss the playoffs? Especially all the fuss about playing to win this week.

Unless they were just trying to hide the plays and hope they won regardless, lol. Not sure I buy it but it sounds better than the alternative. Main reason I'm having trouble thinking that is that this is hardly the first time we've played like this. I'm really starting to buy into the idea that Bortles and Fournette aren't conpatible. Fournette likes a power run offense, lining up in the I formation. Bortles likes rolling with the shotgun. This makes our plays extremely easy to read with Fournette in. Nevermind the fact that we like to run, run, pass on top of all that.

Actually, there was a way the tacks could lose and get in, and in that scenario, they would have come to play us. I became more convinced that the play calling was purposely bland after a run, run, pass, punt sequence in the third quarter, down by two scores.
