I hope there are plenty of Bills fans there to witness the destruction that is coming down on their team. This game will be dominated by the jags from the first snap.

Jags 41-3

peaking into Pitt
The Bills have been waiting awhile for the playoffs but so has Jacksonville. I have talked to a number of people who haven't been to games in years that are scarping up tickets. I think you'll see see a fair number of Bills fans there but stadium capacity will limit it. I'd guess 5K or so unless Jag fans are selling their tickets to cash in and I don't believe that from the way people are talking.
It's not that unreasonable. Of course there will also be Bill's fans at the game, and with the numbers you said being about 7,000 of the 67,000 of the total attendance, or 10%, that sounds about right. I'm fairly confident that our 60,000 can drown out their 7,000 lol.
Doesn't bother me at all. In fact. I think it's great if it's indeed true. Just means 7,000 strong came all the way down here to be disappointed.

All jokes aside though. Buffalo went 17 long years without a play-off appearance. That's longer than ours. It's refreshing as hell as a fan this season to see our teams finally break ground and get back to winning.

According to their website they should have around 20k and will out number Jag fans 4-1.  Can't make this stuff up.
I know people from upstate NY who are flying down for the game. This doesn't surprise me at all.

Hmmm... interesting math...

20k out of 67k < 30% capacity...

yet will out number Jag fans 4 to 1?

And I thought public schooling in Florida was terrible.

Obviously I am new here and that is terrible math!! I went to Carolina and Atlanta this year and there was over 20K each game by just about every estimate. I have a friend at the Falcons and used his tickets. They estimated the crowd at 60/40 in their front office. The director of ticket sales there said that he “had never seen anything like it.” I have a picture from the one tailgate that I can post if I can figure out how.

I would be SHOCKED if less than 20k Bills fans are there. My group is over 65 people at this point. I literally know of hundreds of other people coming. I haven’t lived in Buffalo in over a decade but my brother said that pretty much everyone he knows is going. I’m not trying to troll or anything but don’t expect it to be 5k or 6K. This isn’t the Titans, Chargers or Ravens. I’d say it will be close to 1/3. This fan base is fired up (even though it’s starting to look like Shady might not play). There will be Bills fans EVERYWHERE (and they are obnoxious).

Regardless of the outcome we are looking forward to coming!! It’s about a 7.5 hour drive for me so it looks like a Saturday afternoon arrival and a Monday exit.
Bills fan here! There will be a large Buffalo presence in Jax. I'm not sure about 20k but probably around 15k. I went to the game in London 2 years ago and there were Bills fans everywhere.

Anyways - hoping for an injury free, exciting game. If Jax wins and you end up playing the Pats - please destroy Brady for us.

There are a lot of transplants who live in Florida that I'm sure will be there.

Yeah, there aren’t a ton of people from Buffalo that still live there (which is part of the reason that they travel so well). That has changed some in recent years but there are a lot of us that are elsewhere. My group is coming from Louisiana, NC, Virginia, Chicago, Buffalo, Florida and Georgia.

We are really organized too for the reasons mentioned above. The Bills Backers of a given city host the party the day before and a tailgate the morning of every road game. You see the same mustaches and zubaz each time you are on the road.

Aside from the winters - Buffalo is an amazing city but I can understand why people would like to move South due to the cold and snow which usually accounts for 3-4 months out of the year (don't let the weather folks fool you - it doesn't snow year-round lol). It isn't gigantic like NYC but our sports loyalty and pride is honestly insane. Factor in the flaming tables and perhaps crazy and idiotic, too.

There will not be 20K or 15K. I think the absolute max is 10K.

You're forgetting that it's been 17 years since the Jags have had a home playoff game and 10 years since we have had ANY playoff game. Our fans are just as excited as yours. Sorry to burst your 20K bubble.

I think that you are underestimating the way we travel. We aren’t your typical NFL team. That was kind of the point earlier. This isn’t the Ravens. It’s similar to the Steelers. We had over 20K at both regular season games that I attended on the road this year and they were nowhere near this excited.

Now, the Bills didn’t know until late that they were going which may have limited availability some but I doubt it. I bought last week a ton $150 a tickets but my buddies have all paid $300+. You can’t get a hotel room near the stadium. We will see I guess but I can’t wait!!

I went to a game in Cleveland a few years back and Bills fans took over and started doing the DEFENSE *boom boom* DEFENSE chant. Browns fans were like "[BLEEP]" and then it started getting rowdy.

I understand you travel well but this Jags fan base has been craving a home playoff game just like your fan base has. You're trying to rationalize this with regular season games. This is a playoff game. Jags fans would give up their regular season Bills tickets but not the playoff game.

I think you're underestimating how bad we have wanted it and how excited everyone is to have a home playoff game. 1/3 of the stadium is not going to be Bills fans.

i hope my section is not filled with Bills fans..
