Skip Bayless went on a rant yesterday on Undisputed. And now Jerry was on 105 FM in an interview saying he "needed more" from that position.
Dez just signed a $70 million contract in 2015. This year he had 69 receptions for 800 something yards.
Dallas is also juggling cap space. If they cut him they will save around $12 million bucks. Wow..
He also leads the league in drops. I wouldn't be mad if the Jags went after him but I wouldn't want us to target him if he does end up getting cut.
Dak basically force feeds him which screws up the game flow. He's not worth it in my opinion.
For me...no.
Too much of a disruption...likely too expensive. We have too much talent at WR and a coach and GM who know how to find WRs in the draft.
I'd rather that money to go to:
a) a free agent QB if we decide we need one
b) retaining our own guys.

My thoughts exactly.
Dude is a me-first player, and a cancer to the locker room.
No way. He dropped a ton of catchable balls this season and looked lost. I also saw him have at least one meltdown on the sideline. As I watch our young receivers, (Cole and Westbrook), they can get separation to go deep. We don't really need a "star" WR. We could use a big bodied WR as a redzone target who can catch the fades in the endzone, over smaller cornerbacks. Luckily, this draft is loaded with those types of receivers that should go in the mid to late rounds. One guy that intrigues me a lot is Jaleel Scott of New Mexico State. He's 6'6", had over 1,000 yards receiving and 9 TD's and he'll be playing in the Senior Bowl. I'm also a fan of Oklahoma State's Marcell Ateman, Allen Lazard of Iowa State and Javon Wims of Georgia.
Also, the dead cap number for 2017 is $8 million if they cut him. That's too high a number to cut a guy. The 2019 dead cap number is $4 million. Not that you want to ever take the hit, but $4 million is a much more manageable number if they decide to part ways in 2019. I don't see it happening in 2018 based on the dead cap number though.
Eli, graham, and dez with the elite D. 2018 season Super Bowl champions
This guy would be the WORST fit for our team EVER. HELL NO.
