Interesting article, if nothing else.

Whether it is completely accurate...who knows?
Yes, probably. They essentially sacrificed a decade of success for a couple more years at most and also managed to piss off Bill B. in the process. Robert Kraft will soon realize his Jerry Jones like mistake.
I read that whole article this morning. Fascinating stuff.
Good read. It's time for a changing of the guard in the NFL anyway. Who better to take the guard than a Coughlin lead Jaguar team.
Imagine being a Patriot fan born in 2000. You are 18 years old and your team has missed the playoffs 2 times during your entire life. In my opinion, you aren't truly a fan of a team until you have gone through ups and downs.

I am curious to see what happens with the fan base of this franchise.
That article is basically just a round up of things we already know with added speculation. I don't find the Brady-BBB- Kraft power struggle compelling.

If they maintain success, the bandwagon will fill up quickly.

BB and TB are one of a kind guys. I am not implying they won't have success, but your QB is 40 years old and you just traded away the future QB. Do they even have time to develop a rookie?

My bad. I thought you were talking about if the Jags had success. Cry

I don't think they'll fare well. I tuned into the end of the season opener against the Chiefs. The Chiefs had just scored and the camera panned across the crowd to show a sea of dejected and miserable people, they honestly looked like they had just lost the AFCCG in the last second. The score at the time was 28-27 Chiefs with 14 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter. If that's the reaction of your fanbase when the team is down by 1 with 14 minutes left in the season opener imagine how they're going to react when they start going 6-10 or worse.

It's interesting how everybody 'knew this' already yet it's just now being hammered on the air and picked up by other sports outlets.

I, for one, knew very little of this and do find it very interesting.

Nor did I. I'm glad it was posted. Riveting read.
It was interesting, but I don't buy it unless they lose to the tacks. Then they really are going downhill.
I think Brady will retire after getting pounded into the turf by the Titans/Jags/Steelers. Age 40 is great if your jersey stays clean. It feels like age 80 if you are getting planted like a turnip by Jurrell Casey or Dante Fowler.

Yep. If he gets rattled, he turns into human again. It is played out several times over the past few years.

I don't know how good their offensive line is right now, but they had better protect him. If they don't, all bets are off.
Who knows if the additional info this article brings to light is legitimate or not, but it is absolutely compelling and somewhat believable considering everything that’s happened with the Patriots off the field this year.
I hope it’s true considering the Jaguars would’ve won the 1996, 2005 and 2007 seasons SBs if not for NE.
