And I bet almost all of them were already making over $250K a year.

Man he's bitter. It's sad how they've been brainwashed to think that Capitalism is a bad thing.
I work for what is technically considering a "small business". We have no corporate offices full of fat cats just a couple locations in NWFL and for many years our sales have been flat and thus our wages haven't increased much. It's been 3 years since anyone got a decent raise (our company regardless of economy and profit does an annual 3% cost of living raise, but anyone with simple math skills will tell you, that ain't much.)
This year raises were up across the board, with only employees with less than a year of service getting the minimum 3% raise.
Management all received a small bonus (despite last years sales still being flat).
If big corps are doing it... and my company is doing it.. and Wal Mart is raising their wages... I'm failing to see how this is hurt anyone.

But I suppose it's still early......

Where I work, no one makes that kind of ched. Even the owners of the company don't actually bank that, I'm willing to bet.
And all of our management received bonuses of 500-2000 dollars and wage increases for the entire work force.

(The company I work for employs about 200 employees during our peak season [Late winter-Spring] ranging from minimum wage migrant workers (aka illegal immigrants) to 50-75k a year managers.)
So silly to make such ridiculous blanket statements.

This is not a case of "the rich get richer" at least, not in and of itself. Many people making around 25-35k a year are benefitting a lot.
Now... does this help the people that decided to make McDonald's their career choice? Maybe not. But those people already benefit from massive welfare programs and getting all of (or a surplus) of tax money back.
Did anyone hear Pelosi call a $1000 bonus "crumbs"? Dems are so out of touch with the country it is sad.
