Let them play if it goes both ways.

I know most fans feel this way, but I’ve never seen lineman held like Malik Jackson and Yannick Ngakoue are held. Generally, a certain degree of holding happens on every play. It just seems that, because we’re so successful, they allow opposing teams to get away with some of the less egregious holds.

Maybe it’s my teal-colored glasses.

It's not.

The steelers got away with murder holding Campbell and Ngakoue.  No reason to think the pats won't do the same.

With the Pats, our guys could be flagged FOR being held. The zebras will find a way.

I'm expecting Brady to be rallying as much support as he can from the striped staff as he tries to protect his injured hand.

The goobs on the NFL Network are totally against us.

I could totally see Yannick getting a flag of unnecessary roughness for brushing Brady's hand as he goes for the strip.
Personal foul. Rushing the passer. Number 91 Defense. 15 yard penalty, 1st down.
"We threw a penalty on general principle...against the Jaguars. Fifteen yard penalty...first down!"
Brady gets sacked hard with no penalty call. He leaps up and begins to plead in his whiny, cracking, pubescent-like voice to the refs for a call, any call. The camera pans up to Roger Goodell sitting in his executive box. Stone-faced, he slowly raises his hand and gives the thumbs down sign. A new era of football has begun.

Sad to see one of the potential Jag fans storylines being practiced & perfected. "The refs gave them the game!"

Just a heads up...for every Pats O-lineman you see holding? One of yours is doing the same. That's how it is.
Lets see how many times the Jags hold Gronk. Hint, it will be on every play.

Or how many times Gronk pushes off. Hint, it will be every play.

7 pressures - 2 sacks  -  and 3 non-call holds so far versus your O-Line.

Is that consistent enough for you?
Congrats on a good game and season.

Likewise, to you.
I promised to return, win or lose. I also said I'd start a new thread, but that would be in poor taste.

Willie M was right - Jags won the first half, Pats won the 2nd half.

I enjoyed my time here. A great forum and some really good participants. That's not found anywhere else for the most part these days.

Congrats on a great season. The future is bright. I hope to come down for the Pats-Jags game next season, health permitting.
