The game was over if they didn't blow the whistle. That hurt even more than the Jags giving up the first down on 3rd and 18.

The sad truth is.... The refs are "trained" to let the play continue, specifically in this situation, because it a turn over, it has to be reviewed anyway. The refs shunned their training, and it cost us this play.

Did it cost us the game? Maybe not, but it surely didn't help.

It would have been six the other way without the premature whistle. No one was there to catch Jack - especially with Colvin running interference.

I was shocked that they didn't overturn the call and give it back to the Pats with the way the officiating was going at that point.

They should have let the play go just like Gipsons return earlier this year, then challenge if they thought he was down by contact. Terrible call. And if you listen to when the whistle blew, its like they knew he was going to score

Funny how that ref signaled t/o right away but still blew the play dead.

Yup, what we all figured. That's a 26-10 game pending the extra point and it's a completely different game.

I'm re-watching the game (All 22 and the broadcast at times) and part of me thinks the Pats were whining the whole first half and that helped influence some of these calls as well.

There were a lot a great plays in the first half where some of our guys were destroying guys one-on-one (legal blocks, hits, etc.). Our guys were really dominating the Line of Scrimmage for the most part and the game in general (as we all know).

As we know, the rest is history...their whining led to...well..the Super Bowl.

Bouye said that he watched  Amendola head butt the [BLEEP] out of Gipson, right in front of a ref and the ref didn't do a damn thing.

Yea I haven't seen anything on it either, besides what Bouye said, but I believe him 100%.
