A big part of me says " the refs wouldn't have directly affected the outcome of the game if we were up by 30.
We should have won that game.
We were capable of winning
The jaguars didn't score enough.
Period

Maybe you should ask the falcons about that.
I'm here for the comedy...and it's excellent.

We Jags fans have lied to ourselves for the last 10 years that we have been under .500, we know when someone is lying

It's ok, we're good with it. Your day is coming too.

What team are you going to support when Brady retires?
I'll say it now. I think it's scripted. So I'll go out on an early limb.

The Las Vegas Raiders will be involved in a big championship run with Gruden back in the mix and their first time ever in Las Vegas. And don't be surprised if the Los Angeles Rams or Los Angeles Chargers are heavily favored or involved in a big championship run with their grand opening at their new stadium to drum up interest and fans. It only makes sense for ratings and revenue in the NFL. Just a hunch. I may be a year off. But it's bound to happen. 2019/2020. Whenever. 2018 might be wide open. Who knows.

Has Gronk sent anyone into concussion protocol lately? Seeing as he did that against Tredavious White in buffalo, thought I’d ask...

Hold on a sec. You're forgetting someone.

When there's no more Peyton, Brady, Big Ben, Brees in the league,, the NFL willake sure Aaron Rodgers gets his due off into the sunset too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers gets 2 or 3 Superbowls after these other guys are gone.

You watch.

This. NFL loves them some QBs.
I'm sure the refs get a little starry eyed at times. It's human nature. Who wouldnt want to be there for a great comeback.

The one that I think is most funny is the picture early on in this thread where our WR is getting horse collared, facemasked, and interfered with all in one play. I wonder if the ref got flustered and wasnt sure what to call and by the time he made up his mind, it was too late to throw the flag.

Lol, oh u mean my signature? Anybody else find it funny the Pats fans have seemed to get awfully quiet here since my signature got updated with this pic?
On the last play that should have been a hold, do we really think we would have scored with no timeouts and the ball in BB5's hands?

That is the season in a nutshell. Been a hell of a ride with that guy at the helm. I'm ticked about the calls and the full nelson choke holds against the defensive line all game as well but we didn't make enough plays in the 4th quarter. Patriots always get away with this stuff. We had to go up there and play 60 minutes where they couldn't take it away from us and we let them do that.

Coaches need to decide to let Bortles play or find someone they trust in the offseason.
It's not a conspiracy, it's not scripted, the NFL doesn't brief the refs to let NE win... it's a psychological thing where in any situation in life, if a close call is to be made that call will almost always go towards whichever party is seen as the 'experienced expert' in a situation. It happens in every sport in every country. It damn sure doesn't make me feel better about it, and referees need to be better at blocking out that bias when they are calling a game and just call what they actually see.

what did he say?
He said at least in cycling, everyone is roided up. But in the NFL, the refs belong to only one team

PI as a spot foul is outdated and needs to be revised as a penalty from the line of scrimmage. Long overdue, NFL.
