It's senior bowl week, and not a peep from anyone about it. Admittingly, I haven't followed it, but there must be some kind of news coming from the practices and the upcoming game this weekend.
Anyone have any juicy stories coming out of Mobile?
So what did we think of White and Lauletta? Worth a late-round pick to see if they can be developed? (If we spend the early picks on other positions)

I don't think a late round pick will do it. Both played well enough this week that they will probably be taken in the 3rd to 5th round areas. They really helped themselves. I believe both could go ahead of Luke Falk, who had much more buzz coming into the week, but struggled and didn't do much at all to help alleviate questions about his arm strength. He flew back home before the game to attend the funeral of his teammate. I would've liked to have seen more of Baker Mayfield, but he was getting killed by Marcus Davenport coming off the edge. That guy was in his face on almost every dropback. He was unblockable. Mayfield had absolutely no time to throw. Tanner Lee should've stayed in school. I don't know what he was thinking. He's not ready for the NFL and may never be. I wasn't impressed with Benkert either. He should poise and escapability, but was erratic with his throws and made a bad read or two. He got credit for a TD pass, but that was all on RB Rashaad Penny. He may find a place as a career backup, but I don't see him ever being a long term starter in the NFL.
Lauletta quick release and ball placement is impressive (not just in senior bowl).
I could see Lauletta with our second pick, actually.

That's way too early for Lauletta. He'll be there later. I actually believe Mike White will be taken ahead of him and I think White goes in the 3rd.
I was impressed with White. Had never heard of him before the Senior Bowl.

I knew of him, but unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see him play until the Senior Bowl. Personally, I liked him better than Lauletta. Both were good, but I liked the velocity and accuracy White showed, especially on his mid range and deep passes. I think he could go as early as round 3. I see Lauletta going in round 4 or 5.
