Hate to say it... but I don't think an O-Lineman has enough impact on a team to ever be worthy of a statue... he would have to be a hall of fame player and then become a hall of fame coach and then be a hall of fame actor in a reboot of Rocky.

To this franchise, Boselli is much more than just a former tackle who was the best at his position when he played.  The guy spearheaded the effort to bring the fans back from the brink.  His efforts to do so are noteworthy.
Throw up a statue of the Jags meme guy. True legend.
A statue doesn't always have to represent how many titles they won or records broken. To me, a statue put up represents what that player meant to the franchise. And for the short time frame that our team has existed, Tony and Fred were our best; this could include Jimmy also. I think it would be awesome to have statues put up of them. And it would be a class act to put the Weavers up too because we wouldn't have a team if it wasn't for them. I get it, that we don't want to water down the notoriety of our history with the Pride and statues. But it would be a nice touch on the stadium environment and pay homage to the best our team has known so far. Hell, they could make it really cool and start a Jaguars History Museum at the stadium with statues of the players on a field showing some of our best moments and stuff. Now that to me would be awesome!
If we talkin statues may as well have one of gus Bradley holding an ice cream cone for one of the worst head coaches ever
These people already make enough money. And they've got their names in the stadium. Do we really need a statue of them as well.

FBT pointing and TMD and JW walking away, heads down.

It's been done.

Excellent work!
Tony Boselli had no ties to this area or this state - born in California, played his amateur career in California - but he decided he loved this area, this fanbase, and raised his family here and continues to fight for the Jaguars and Jaguars fans.

He is the only one worthy of having a statue in my opinion.

Fred and Tony are ever-present around the organization, their pictures and history are all over the place and they're both in the Pride. At what point do you stop piling individual honors on a player?

The best statue in the NFL, imo, is of a moment. The statue of Steve Gleason blocking Michael Koenen's punt outside of the Saints' stadium is a thing of beauty. If another statue is built, I'd rather it be of a defining moment in team history, not just another tribute to a player we already honor all over the stadium.

This.

Five statues? Hell, while we're at it, let's build one for Coughlin, and one for Brunell, and one for McCardell, and one for MJD, and one for Del Rio, and one of Morten Andersen slipping, and one of Mike Mularkey throwing a clipboard. Maybe Ketchman and Oehser need statues too. Jeesh.
Never heard of that statue and hearing about it makes it sound stupid. Sorry.

Cater to the young.
Although it's not a person per se, the Khan Stache deserves a 20 foot tall bronze honorarium.
40ft solid platinum statue of Todd Bouman in his John Deere please.

You forgot Mathis, Mikey P, Double D, Big John and Stroud, Brackens, Searcy, and don’t forget Spicer lol. Y’all act like statues include a free plague give away lol. I don’t have a problem with it though. Doubt it’s even a thought on Mr. Khan’s mind. Wasn’t on mine before the question was brought up. Definitely need a John Oehser one!
Peyton Manning is among truly elite players within the HOF. Boselli and Taylor are HOF caliber but not statue-esque caliber IMHO. If we win a Super Bowl or 2 under Coughlin. I'm all for one of him. P.S. This year should have been our 1st year. Thanks refs.

Yeah this should have been our 2nd. Music City Miracle was a forward pass. We would have ba the Rams in a close game.

And this year we got hosed by the refs. And with our defense against and backup QB in Foles, we would have wwon our 2nd Lombardi trophy.
Someone will be offended and it’ll be torn down.

Lol.  Every time I saw this thread that’s all I could think of.  Figured someone else would have already said it.

It would b a nice addition. Saw where Manning just got one in Indy.

The only plplayers that would be worthy are Boselli and maybe Taylor. If Tony could make the HOF, then definitely.

Thoughts

What about Scobee's 60+ yard game winning fg against the colts ? One of the greatest moments in kicking history
