Hi all...
I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse from eBay to connect to my iMac. It has a USB receiver that I plugged into the back of the monitor and the mouse worked straight away. It brought up an option on the screen to push a couple of buttons so the Mac could recognise the mapping of the keyboard which I did.. it worked.. then all of a sudden it adjusted the brightness (so high it nearly burnt my retina's) and left the brightness alert on my screen until I took the batteries out. Now the keyboard isn't working.. and when I pull the batteries out and put them back in I don't get the keyboard mapping function coming up on my screen..
A bit of a longshot, but does anyone know how to rectify this?
I didn't have to install any drivers for the USB receiver, it was just a 'plug in and go' kinda deal.
I've had no issues at all with the mouse thus far.
Thanks!
