Josh McDaniels only shot at ever being HC now I think is if/when Belichick retires.

McDaniels was told he'd basically be Mangini if he went to Indy. The blood is bad between Irsay and Kraft. Well, Irsay and a lot of people. Irsay's reputation causes many good people to stay away.

As a Lions fan, my confidence in GM Bob Quinn has never been higher because he knew better not to interview Josh McDaniels for the Lions HC position......even though both worked together many years in the Patriots organization.
