At least according to pro football focus.

And the reason I post this is because our boy Tony Khan liked a tweet to this link. Doesnt mean others in the stadium agree but someone tell the kid we need to publicly keep our interest in players to a minimum.

Perhaps he's doing it to get people to think the Jags would be interested, when actually ...

You never know. I don't think this really matters one way or the other.

(I think Khan is 35 - no longer a kid.)
Khan is a stat guy. He frequently "likes" stuff from sources like PFF and others that break down players' numbers.
Many of those likes are totally unrelated to the team.
I think he's the best QB in this draft, just like Watson last year.
Mayfield is the top QB prospect IMHO. I like him more than Darnold, Rosen and Jackson. The only knock on him is that boneheaded arrest he had. If he checks out during the interview process he should be a top ten pick. He honestly shouldn't make it past the New York Jets. I could see Cleveland passing up on him twice only because of what happened with Johnny Manziel.
Mayfield is my #1 QB too. It would be a lot harder to take someone who is a bit of a archetypal curveball if my job was on the line like theirs are though.
I think Rosen is a more talented QB but his injuries are worrisome. Prefer Mayfield style wise.
It could happen. The Browns recently hired former Washington GM Scot McCloughan as a draft consultant and he is said to be higher on Mayfield than any QB in the draft. I could see them drafting him with one of their 2 first round selections.

Mayfield should be approached with caution.

1. He is not an immediate upgrade over Blake Bortles.

2. There are maturity/character issues involved with Mayfield.

3. Draftniks tend to rank quarterbacks with bias i.e. just because he is a quarterback means he belongs at the top of the draft.

1. Yes, he does.

2. No, there isn't.

3. Not in this case. It's purely based on talent.
