Yeah I agree with this. Though I think they'll go for O line first. If the value is there I wouldn't be surprised to see draft OG, OG, and  RB in some order.

I'm in disagreement with the underlined portion.  I still think it's highly likely the Jaguars cut him.  There's no advantage to cutting him early.  I think holding onto him is part of negotiation strategy with A-Rob.  If the Jaguars cut Hurns and don't have Lee under contract, A-Rob's agent might see the Jags as desperate and hold out for more money than he otherwise would.  If the Jags resign A-Rob, I think the announcement of Hurns being cut will quickly follow it.

In regards to a pay cut, fans always dream of that, but it rarely happens (at least without pushing more money into future years).  Hurns will hope that the Jags are desperate enough to pay the $7 million and if he gets cut, he has 31 other teams bidding on his services as well.

The only scenario I see us keeping Hurns is if we lose A-Rob and Lee.  In that case, there's a slight chance that we might consider overpaying Hurns and keep him for one final year as a veteran stop gap.  Again, I would emphasize the word "might".  I still think under that scenario that we would still cut Hurns and then either draft a wide receiver in the 1st and/or sign a free agent receiver.  Hurns just isn't worth $7 million.
What would we save if we cut him last year instead of waiting?

When he was handed the pen to sign the contract did he fumble it?

It was an autopen, his hand was on IR.
