• Top 10? Asked several GMs/scouts/coaches for their top 10 in the draft as of today. Here’s the consensus, in an order close to this: Barkley, USC QB Sam Darnold, North Carolina State pass-rusher Bradley Chubb, Allen, Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield, UCLA QB Josh Rosen, Notre Dame G Quenton Nelson, Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Ohio State CB Denzel Ward, Georgia LB Roquan Smith.
It's starting to sound like the Browns are going Barkley #1 and then will take whatever top QB is left over at #4.

I hope the weird Rosen hate makes him drop to late in round 1 and then the jags get a steal.
But I agree with others who have stated, I think Barkley may very well go #1 and then the shake out will be interesting.

There was some speculation on NFL Network that perhaps the Browns would use some of their ammunition to trade up from 4 to 2 to ensure they get the QB they want plus Barkley.
The Giants would be smart to take such a trade down, but I am unsure how smart the Browns would be to execute such a trade up.
On the one hand, trading up would guarantee the Browns got the top prospect in the draft with Barkley, and get the QB of their choice. Theoretically, that would add a lot of juice to their offense. Assuming LT Joe Thomas returns, both would have ample blocking in front of them, with a good receiving corps to take some defensive attention away from Barkley, while giving Darnold/Allen/Rosen/Mayfield the tools to succeed.
On the other hand, assuming there isn't much difference in the Browns minds between the passers at the top, they would be better served standing pat. They could take Barkley at 1, a QB at 4 (it's unlikely the Giants and Colts would take QBs at 2 & 3 although the Broncos or Jets could trade with Indy to get a guy), and still have their two high second round picks to bolster their secondary or LB corps. Trading up would limit their ability to finish rebuilding their secondary and LB corps.
From the Giants perspective, trading down disadvantages them in the sense they would definitively lose out on either Barkley (assuming the Browns went QB 1) or possibly their top choice at QB or possibly Chubb. However at 4, they would still likely end up in position to get at least one of the QBs or maybe even Chubb if the Colts traded down, and the extra picks in the second and later rounds could be used to bolster their OL in a deep G and talented G class.

I doubt that happens, but Rosen to Jacksonville would make me happy.
