The Browns have acquired WR Jarvis Landry from the Dolphins for two undisclosed draft picks (1 in 2018 and 1 in 2019). All we know about the pciks right now is that neither of them are 1sts or 2nds.

Dolphins FO outsmarted ours this time. Should of tagged ARob and traded him for some picks

Ehh. There’s a lot of moving parts to that:


1. ARob is damaged goods, Landry is not

2.  Landry has been the more consistent player 

3. ARob would have to agree to sign the tag

4. The other team would have to be willing to commit to signing ARob to a long term deal with 16 mil per average as the starting point

They got a 4th and a 7th for a much safer WR. Not worth the risk if you really don’t want to keep him

And they could have gotten as much as a compensatory 3rd if they just let him be a free agent.

I don't know how big the market for Arob is going to be.

Then again, Cleveland is on a roll with dumb moves today. Maybe we sign him to huge contract then trade him to the browns lol. Wouldn't be the worst move they pulled today.

Seems like the Browns don't want to draft on Draft Day. LOL. What a joke of an organization.
