Colvin's contract numbers aren't out yet. Mike Kaye says we "tried hard" to resign him
We have the two best lockdown corners in the NFL. We should be able to find a serviceable nickle in the mid to late rounds of the draft.
Can't blame a player for going for the money (most likely more than what we were willing to pay). They have a short shelf life. Get it while you can. Hope Cole and Westbrook burn him when we play him; but best of luck to him.

If he's not already on the roster.
Gross. I was gonna be bummed about him leaving regardless but the Texans? Come on colvin....

Yea, me too. Lee has been very disappointing and unreliable with respect to staying on the field. They could have drafted someone like Miller for a fraction of the money in the 3rd round and would have been just as well off.
Colvin got the same deal as Lee, 4 years, $32 million $18 million guaranteed
Malcom Butler to the tacks too

My bad lol, the too threw me off
Haha. Well looks like me may be getting DJ Hayden tho
I would much rather have paid Colvin than Lee but maybe there was more to it than money. Welp
Looks like Colvin got 4/34 million 18 guarenteed. 8.5 per year
Good deal for Colvin but too pricey for us to pay him at nickel. Don't think anyone should be mad about is not keeping him.

The impression I'm getting is some Nickel CBs are being paid like starters because in many games, they are on the field for over 70 % of the Defensive snaps.
