Dude is basically Kirk Cousins. Fell in the draft because GMs thought it was strange he wasn't a team captain. Dude is young and can make all the throws.

I don't know. There must be something NFL people know as to why he dropped so low in the draft.

Habit of throwing short passes with too much pepper. Accuracy is a major concern. Often caught flat- footed in the pocket and appears willing to launch throws without proper balance or step to target. Open front hip causes him to spray outside frame of his intended target. Sees throws come open but won't always cut it loose. Can struggle mightily when forced off of his first option. Misses opportunities to adjust protection pre-­snap. Gets locked in on shotgun snap and misses signs of blitzers sneaking forward. First instinct versus blitz is to go up top rather than finding easier, short completion. Gives little effort to sell play­ fakes even on run downs. Scouts question his field demeanor and leadership in adverse times. Failed to rise to the occasion in 2015 Big Ten Championship Game or playoff game against Alabama.

I think it's a crap-shoot.

 

I think Dak is just as good as Wentz.

Swap teams and they are both still playing well imo.

4th rounder, multiple picks trade up first rounder.

 

I think GMs know a lot but it's still kind of luck for the guy to translate to the NFL and then also get coached up to keep getting better.

 

Our young 6th round QB from Arkansas might end up being better than our 3rd overall selection Bortles.

Let's get one of those coaches that has a "system" that you can basically plug any QB into and the team will roll on.

Let's get a coach that doesn't build his system until he gets here and looks at our roster.

110% positive.

Nope. This team shouldn't be trading away any selections right now for unproven commodities. It's foolish. Especially at the QB position. I'd rather see this team bench Bortles and suffer along with Henne and Allen at some point this year if that's the case. We're fixing to see this front office get blown up once again. Whether or not Khan decides to let Caldwell have another chance remains to be seen. But I honestly think he's going to have to cut them all loose. Bradley, Caldwell, Olson, Wash and even Bortles should be SOL after this season. I am already focusing on QB's like Kaaya, Kizer, Watson & Kelly as potential QB's here in 2017.

Great, we went from Bortles is #1 player if you are starting a franchise TO hoping we can trade for someone similar to Kirk Cousins.
