Yeah tough conference to get to the playoffs in with FSU/Clemson/Louisville current teams.

Don't count UGA out...it's not like Florida have proven themselves to be some kind of world beaters this year.

In the SEC East, teams don't have to be world beaters. The whole division sucks.

That said, the Bulldogs did not just lose games - they played bad in their losses.

I'm counting them out entirely a couple of days before the game. No chance in hell UF loses this game, even WITH GDR at QB.
Btw JW, you are in no way a Gators fan if you are going to watch Ohio State play Northwestern over Florida playing what is probably their biggest rival.  There is no comparison between the two games.  UF/UGA is fun to watch based off rivalry alone and the chance of things going crazy.

OSU/Northwestern sounds real enticing....

You know perfectly well I am a Gators fan. It is not my fault that I can't watch both games.  Ohio State will always be my #1. Using your logic, I should watch the game on Fox when the Jaguars are playing at KC.
Using that logic you should stop watching football all together.  It would be better for all of us.

The only thing that makes sense is watching the Ohio State/Northwestern game, like it or not. That is a no-brainer for all Buckeyes fans.
Quote:They only control their own destiny if Nebraska also loses to Ohio St. (which by definition would mean they don't control their own destiny).

I don't think Nebraska is going into Columbus and beating Ohio State (especially after OSU already has notched a loss).

But, that's why they play the games. We'll see.

The only team I think that can go into Columbus and win is Michigan. That game should be a great one.
Watch the rivalry game of the team you say you like of the town you live in or OSU playing a marginal team in the big ten.  Kind of a no brainer, but what do I know.  I don't think you're actual a Florida fan, I think you were a Florida fan when they were winning, and now you're a bigger Ohio State fan because they are winning so you are going to stick with them while they are on top....just a hunch.

I am sure a lot of OSU haters will be less optimistic than me about the Buckeyes in that one. But this is Northwestern week, so I am not going to worry about it.

All of the Michigan fans on this forum will be happy not to see me during Rivalry Week. I hate not being able to watch The Game.

You know what I mean Tyler...lol

Oh yeah for sure I just had to poke fun at that, can't forget good ol Penn State. Hah

Going into the late OSU vs PSU game, I actually thought Northwestern might be better than PSU. PSU got shrimp slapped by Michigan and barely squeaked by a terrible Minnesota team.
Franklin helped made that contract worth it that night.  Penn State loves those gimmick games, white out, blue out, whatever....Ohio State looks average.  Michigan is going to blow them out.

Wilton Speight is pretty meh. He is solid enough I guess but I'd love to be going into Columbus with a sure-fire thing at QB. Defensively Michigan is legit, though.

Michigan and MSU were pretty even last year. Ohio St. lost at home to Michigan St. and then turned around and beat Michigan 42-17 the following week. Screw Urban Meyer.

I know that it is easy to do, but comparing H2H isnt a very reliable way to predict who might be better. Styles of play being one of the main reasons.

But, I do think Michigan will beat Ohio State, and I do hope it is a blowout, and I do hope Harbaugh does something crazy.

Just trolling the troll. You're right that the transitive property doesn't really work too well.
