Rookie TEs rarely produce as rookies. They take a while to develop.
This team is going for it all this year. Every moves screams "Win now".
They will still most likely draft a TE. Get over it.

Who says they wont? In the short term this was a great signing. He's not Gronk, but he has great hands and is faster than anything we have.

Marcedes was the last TE we drafted in the first 2 rounds 12 years ago. Enough already. All our attempts at FA TEs have failed miserably. This will be no different.
