A simple question.
What players (max 3) would cause you to sprint to the podium to turn in the card if they were somehow on the board at 29?
For me
S Derwin James
G Will Hernandez
QB Baker Mayfield

Are we talking players who could realistically drop? Because I don't see Baker dropping at all. He's almost a top 10 lock.
Any player?
1. Darnold
2. Nelson
3. Raquon Smith
Realistically?
1. James
2. Hernandez
3. DJ Moore

I started not to put Mayfield in for that very reason.
I'm okay with Rudolph, but I don't know if I would sprint to the podium.
(not in ranked order)
1. OG Will Hernandez
2. OG Isaiah Wynn
3. QB Lamar Jackson
Baker Mayfield
Quenton Nelson
Minkah Fitzpatrick
I would sprint, because realistically, we have no chance at these guys.

So if adjusted for realism...who would your guy or guys be?

I like Wynn as a player, but I'm not sure I like him in our scheme.
I think ours is more a power scheme, and I believe he is a better fit in a zone scheme or one that requires a lot of pulling.
Although he should be able to get out nicely on screens.
Lamar Jackson's really the only guys I'd be sprinting to the podium for. Hernandez, Gesecki, etc would all be nice but there will be similar enough players there at 29. Assuming the QBs fly off the board as expected if Lamar made it to our pick he could be the only flashing arrow bright blinking lights possible franchise changer there.

If Jackson is on the board, and the Jaguars are considering QB, I still think Petrino's input will be critical to whether he is picked or not.

Nice picks, though I don't know if I would sprint for Chark at that stage. I like him, though.
Calvin Ridley
Derwin James
A trade back with Buffalo involving A. J. McCarron

Considering we lack size at the receiver position and he has size, speed, athleticism, separation ability, solid hands and runs pretty good routes, he's my #1 receiver. I believe he'd be much higher on everyone's list had he played for a school which emphasized the passing game more and had a QB that was at least semi-decent. Adding him in with Cole and Westbrook would give a new QB some good downfield targets.
Roquan Smith
Will Hernandez
Lamar Jackson
I’d do cartwheels to the podium for Lamar.
Any players:
Quenton Nelson
Derwin James
Bradley Chubb
Realistically:
Lamar Jackson
Will Hernadez
Marcus Davenport
Realistically, I'd probably sprint to the podium for Marcus Davenport or Connor Williams. Both have a slight chance of being there at 29.
Being realistic:
Lamar Jackson
Will Hernandez
Marcus Davenport or one of the DBs/LBs who might fall.
