The purpose of this thread is to simply ask what you "want" the Jags to do in rounds 1 through 4.

You can list positions to be addressed, specific players or a combination of these things.

I'd like to see:

An upgrade at RG
This could be in the form of a guard, a center that moves Linder out, or a tackle who will play guard before challenging Parnell next year. (Rounds 1,2 or 3)
Another TE
I'm glad the Jags took a shot at this in FA, but I think they should consider this position heavily in the draft especially if a highly rated prospect is there at the end of the second round.
(round 1 or preferrably round 2)
Back-Up QB who might compete in 2019
They absolutely need a back-up - Would be a plus if he might push for Blake's job next year
(any round)
Receiver
I believe this group is lacking enough size and physicality. I'd like to add a guy that's 6'2" or better and north of 195 pounds - as Moncreif is their only option in that range currently. Would be nice to have another guy that has shown some jump-ball ability and creates redzone mismatches.  This player doesn't need to start right away unless forced to do so by injury ahead of him.  (rounds 3 or 4)

Neglected from this list are:  LB and CB
I'd like to address both positions, and LB may well be addressed ahead of any of those I have listed, but I'm all about the Jags offense taking the next step in 2018 right now.
I think the team may elect to bolster CB depth with a late round pick and/or some waiver wire pick-ups in August.
LB may require more effort. Not sure what the team's intent is at that position currently.

In no particular order:

Another WR.  Releasing the experience of Hurns and Robinson, and given the inexperience of the rest of the receiving corps, I'd like the idea we have a young stud WR who can be a game breaker.  Of course, there's the issue of adding inexperience to an already inexperienced group.  But I'm looking more towards talent, as a hedge against a regression of some sort at the position.

An Upgrade at RG and/or RT.  I really want Will Hernandez as our new RG, but I don't know if fate shares that view.  Parnell played well for us last year, but we need to start grooming his replacement.

A QB.  We have just Bortles on the roster.  Despite Caldwell's words to the contrary, the contract given Bortles does not indicate a complete endorsement of him.

Another TE.  We signed ASJ and Paul, but I don't view the position as being completely stable.  If ASJ has a relapse, we are worse than where we started this offseason.  Looking positively, if ASJ is clean, sober, and healthy, another TE-one that can attack the deep seams-can give us all kinds of match up advantages in 2 TE sets.
1. QB of the future. This is far and away my #1 want. I know we can upgrade from Bortles and put us in line for a Superbowl. If we come out of this draft with some late round QB who is no competition for the starting job, this entire draft will be a complete failure in my eyes. I still think Mason Rudolph is perfect for this team, but I'm also high on Mike White, if we miss out on Rudolph.

2. RG. We got a huge upgrade at the LG position when we added Norwell. Finding an upgrade at RG is equally as important. One guy I really see us targeting in the 3rd or 4th round is Colby Gossett of Appalachian State. He has the size, strength, traits this team covets in an O-Lineman and he is a true RG who also has played RT successfully. He was one of the fastest rising players at the Senior Bowl. IMO, he'd be perfect for this offense.

3. TE. If we are indeed going to run a lot of two TE sets, we need another pass catching TE. I thought with the bodies we added to the position, we may be finished, but the sudden departure of Lewis changes that. I believe the 2nd round could be where we get one. Goedert and Hurst seem to be the most likely candidates as they show the ability to make big plays and block well. I also like Andrews, but his blocking is suspect and Schultz could be in play as well, but probably no sooner than round 4. I'm not a fan of Gesicki. He's completely useless as a blocker.

4. A tall, possession receiver. With Hurns and Robinson gone, this team lacks size at the receiver spot. I want a receiver at least 6'2" who can catch fades in the corner of the endzone. I can't remember what game it was last season, but Hurns and Robinson were both inured, we tried multiple times to throw fades to Lee in the red zone, but it failed over and over. We need to remedy this. I wanna see a redzone package where we have ASJ and a rookie TE on both sides and a tall rookie WR lined up on the outside with Fournette and Bohanan in the backfield. We'd be close to unstoppable.
Rd. 1- Mason Rudolph
Rd. 2- Ty Crosby
Rd. 3- Ian Thomas
Rd. 4- Allen Lazard

All offense. Team gets future starting quarterback, solid offensive lineman who can compete at guard, but eventually replace Parnell at right tackle, versatile tight end with big upside and red-zone receiver. I believe all of these guys will be on the board when the Jags pick, although Rudolph and Crosby are 50-50.
Very interesting that everyone so far is going with some version of:

OL/QB/WR/TE

I believe this would solidify this team for the long haul as well. Assuming we hit on the picks of course.

Ol/QB/lb/te in no particular order for me.

No poz means either someone needs to come in and take Jack's spot because he's going to mlb, or we need someone to play that mlb spot.

I know we have a couple guys on the team that played some spot duty, but I think whatever spot jack doesn't play becomes the biggest weakness on the team.

I think there are some late round linebackers that could fit the bill and do a good job. One guy to consider would be Oren Burks of Vanderbilt. He's very athletic, speedy and could play inside or out. He's very good in coverage and even played Safety back in 2014. He's a lot like Telvin and Myles.

Yep. I mentioned this in the OP and it they very well could address it in the first four rounds. No idea if they plan to go after SAM or MLB - or if they think Brown is up to it.  They'll need quality depth at the bare minimum.  I could see them pushing TE or WR down to the sixth round if the right LB falls to them.

The waning days of free agency might give us a clue here as well. Especially if they sign a journeyman back up QB. Then LB is easily on the menu in the first 4 rounds.
Would love to bring in Navorro Bowman on a 1 year deal. Would be a perfect fit imo. He could play the Poz role

He's still out there. It's not too much of a stretch to think they may be looking at him. Could even be part of freeing up this money the past few days. Good against the run in the middle. Could play base MLB and let Jack keep the same role as last season.
What I would want is similar to most others. In no particular order:

-A quality OL to replace Cann. Doesn't matter if it's a center with Linder moving to G or an OT that will kick inside as a rookie before possibly replacing Parnell or a pure guard like Will Hernandez (the ideal option).
-A pass catching tight end.
-A QB that under no pressure to start will be able to develop.

4th option I don't have a specific position, maybe WR.
Or a talented defensive player that falls to us and that could be brought in as a potential replacement for one of the Dareus/Campbell/Jackson/Gipson/Church/Hayden group.

Have to say though that while we all seem to want a good OL to play at RG I'm not sure that the team sees it that way at least as early as we think. I have a feeling they are higher on Cann than we are. (could be wrong of course).
Tight End became another area of need after Lewis cut.

What will probably decide the early shape of the draft is the QB decision: if they think this class is way better than the 2019 one and want to bring in a talent which is a potential starter from 2019 onwards I really think 1st round is really an option (Rudolph or Jackson being the most obvious targets as they are probably the only 2 who wouldn't require a really costly trade up).
If they aren't under that urge to find a 1st round talent or are confident to find guys of similar talent next year then they'll probably pick one from round 3 with the Lauletta/White/Falk & co group and that will give us more choice from the OL/TE group in the first.

Would be a great way to end FA
RD1. Try to find a way to land Roquan Smith at OLB in the first round. Even though our defense is easily the best aspect of our football team. I still think they should build on it. With Paul's retirement. I think Roquan would be one hell of an addition to this defense. He was red flagged for some kind of medical reason but I'll take my chances after what we saw happen with Myles Jack.

RD2. Replace Cann. He needs to go. He's the weakest link right now on the offensive line. I lost count of how many times I saw him get straight up bulldozed into the backfield or just not be able to move his man in front of him. Just not a fan of his at all. I would be happy if they found a quality G in this RD. Maybe a guy ike Braden Smith out of Auburn or Billy Price if he falls a little bit since he's considered a bit of a tweener between G and C.

RD3. Quality running back behind Fournette. Yeldon and Ivory were great at times last year. But I still worry about Fournette's durability. I would love to see them pull the trigger on either Ballage out of Arizona State here or Kerryon Johnson out of Auburn. I would have loved to have seen Chubb or Michel but I think they're gone before we pick in the 2nd RD.

RD4. I would be happy to see either Coutee, Ateman or Washington here at WR this late. I think they were all very productive in high flying offenses geared towards the passing game but I think they can offer a lot of depth and potential at the slot position.
I would say, OL, TE, CB, WR.

What would thrill me is if the first pick is an offensive lineman. I'd think, we're going to kick some [BLEEP] in the trenches.

If we don't address WR in the first two rounds, I would take it off the table. We have enough WRs, what we lack is a dominant WR.

I want to address CB because Colvin was such a key cog in our defense, which is the strength of the team.

But bottom line, nothing would surprise me. They might wind up picking any position, if they think they have filled all the holes in free agency, and they want to pick BAP.
1) developmental TE
2) backup QB
3) OL depth/ competition
4) keep adding young talent to our defense

It is very strange to see our team entering the draft with no gaping holes... I expect to see a lot of BAP picks with a lean towards offense.

I will watch the draft from the beginning:

a.  Because I love football and the draft
b.  Because of the possibility the Jaguars somehow trade up

But it's going to be weird waiting all night for the Jaguars to pick because we are so low in the draft order.

LB is very low on the Jags priority list for the 1st round. Trading up is hard but trading up for a LB? No chance

Agree about guard in the 2nd.

RB is also very low on the list of needs. Ivory is no longer a Jag (which is amazing!) but they gave Grant a 2nd round tender which means they have bigger plans for him. Yeldon also looked really nice last year so using a 3rd round pick on a RB seems like a bad move.

I love Ateman in the 4th (if he's there) but there is a zero % chance Washington is there in the 4th.

LB may require more effort. Not sure what the team's intent is at that position currently.

1) Backup QB and possible future replacement of Bortles (Rounds 1-3) - This is the position I'm unsure of. Anybody not projected in the first round I'm not familiar with; so I have no clue who we would go after beyond the first round.

2) 2nd primary RB (Round 2) - Sony Michel is my main want at this position. Him behind Fournette and still having Yeldon and Grant would make it pretty nasty.

3) Right Guard (Rounds 1, 3, or 4) - We need some stronger consistency over there. Will Hernandez comes to mind here for a lot us; just not sure he'll be there at 29.

4) OLB or ILB (Rounds 1, 3, or 4) - We need a Poz replacer. I would like Smith from Georgia to fall, but doubt he will be there at 29. I could see his play translating well to an OLB. If not, I'm really interested in the kid from UCF Shaquem Griffin.
Four rounds of wants....

I'll give you some names with their positions. I would pick any of them for my team.

WR/TE/RB Jalen Samuels
RB Kalen Ballage
QB Josh Allen
OG Isaiah Wynn
OG Will Hernandez
OT Brian O'Neill
TE Ian Thomas
OLB Lorenzo Carter
ILB Tremaine Edmunds
WR D. J. Chark
