The best thing by far is winning.
Without winning were all still miserable.
Well.... any true fan is miserable when their team is always losing.

Well...we won a lot last year and everyone is picking us to represent the AFC in the Superbowl next year.
So it looks like we're gonna win a bunch next year too....
Winning...is e far the best thing
We never had to worry about relocation. The only ones who ever thought the Jags were going to move were people that had no clue about the franchise, its owner or the market.
Teal. I just really enjoy wearing teal clothing.
Simply knowing we currently have a legitimate shot at winning the SB.
Being able to cheer on Blake Bortles? Did I win?
Best thing about being a Jag fan right now is the home games will get back to being more of a "have to be there" type event for the more casual fans among us who live in the vicinity. It's been too long since we've had a spirited prime time home game against the Steelers or some other perennial elite team whose fans travel well. I'm really looking forward to the schedule release this year as I do every year, but I expect to see several prime time games this time even if they're not all at home.

I feel like this fanbase put the threat of this team leaving town to bed a few years ago.
2 more years of Blake Bortles, and it's finally over.

There's always a rotten apple out of every bunch and y'all two are just comical to me. LOL. Carry on with your immature hot cakes.

Getting new ownership is risky. My favourite soccer club "West Ham" have had their soul ripped out of them by new owners. They moved them out of their famous home stadium to a new souless bowl. Currently fighting to stay in the league.

We are EXTREMELY lucky to hit the owner jackpot with Shad. H

I feel you on that one. Milan AC supporter here and we are going through years of struggles because of the former owner "losing it" and the new chinese group struggling. We may change owner soon again.
I always liked West Ham in england because of Steve Harris (big Iron Maiden fan here). I hope you stay up.

So yes, having a stable and capable owner is definitely huge, love Mr. Khan.

I also have to agree about the relocation point from the OP. I'm not from Jacksonville, I'm not even from the US but I wouldn't want the franchise to move. Even from this far and never having been there to me the Jaguars will always be the Jacksonville Jaguars and having those rumours put to rest is a nice bonus. (might help that I come from the european football thing where Milan Ac is the club from Milan and you can't even dream of moving the brand away).

Yo!  Fellow Milan supporter here!  And a fellow (die-hard) fan of the JACKSONVILLE Jaguars who has never once visited Jacksonville.  My first/only NFL/Jaguars game was at Jerry World, TX.
Anyways, *cheers* mate!!!  Hope Gino keeps up this progress...
I was just busting your beach balls leo.

It's all good my good man because we all Jaguar fans at the end of the day and wants what's best for the team. There's nothing wrong with us agreeing to disagree on certain things a long as we could do it without others questioning our fandom.

You probably won't find too many soccer fans here but some of us are.  For instance, I follow Fulham FC a bit because of Shad and Liverpool too because a few years ago I visited Liverpool and sat in during a Liverpool vs Chelsea match at a pub with a bunch of Liverpool fans and they were just some of the coolest fans ever (in addition to Jags fans of course). I have also been a Boston Celtics fan for most of my life (Patriot fans make it really tough) although I've only been to Boston once, so I dig that you can be a fan of a team and not be from the same city.
Obviously that mak has returned

Realizing that we went so far in the playoffs that time has shifted.

I just looked up and realized that the combine was a couple of weeks ago, and we have about a month to the draft.

That is the best thing.

I understand your point but I'm going to have to disagree with you my man because I don't care if this team was 3-13 again as long as they are the Jacksonville Jaguars instead of name this team here Jaguars. Just remember in 2012 the future of this team was very bleak what relocation room was all over the place but because of the success of the team and Shad Khan himself we no longer have to worry about those things. It's great to have a good discussion with you

Are you sure? Wink
According to the mayor of London, Khan met him, prob to discuss the team moving there. Those are probably just very casual meetings and Im not saying its gonna happen, but I wouldnt go as far as to say that the team is safe with Khan as an owner.

I'm sure I'm a good man because although I read that story it was just casual conversations nothing more nothing less. So much will have to happen before London can become a NFL hub for a franchise.

Sadiq Khan. Shahid Khan. I think there’s a Khanspiracy.
Watching this young defence develop. I hope the JAGS are going to be a force for years to come
Winning is always the best thing, but the respect that comes from winning is a big bonus.  You hear it from the commentators when they're talking about the defense.  We're not a pushover any more and everyone knows it.

Best of all is the respect from other team's fans.  I fly into the northeast frequently, often wearing a Jags shirt/sweatshirt.  Lots of very proud franchises up there, Giants, Patriots, Steelers and they're accustomed to winning.  The looks last fall, especially after beating the Steelers was great!

I'd rather die.

Still haven't lost since this. Plenty of time for you to reconsider.
