RB Corey Grant, TE Ben Koyack sign tender offers; will return to the Jaguars for 2018

What about OT William Poehls?
He already signed an exclusive rights free agent contract.

NFL.com doesn't seem to agree with the Jaguars' PR guy.

For March 22 the transactions read:

Corey Grant No Offer Sheet Executed (no offer sheet executed).

Ben Koyack Exclusive Rights Signing (exclusive rights signing).

http://www.nfl.com/teams/transactions?team=JAX

Spotrac is reporting Grant is signed, but they may be relying upon the Jaguars' PR guy for details.

The NFL.com information has been up for several days.

The separate league transactions link also indicates Corey Grant no offer sheet signed.

Grant, Koyak and Poehls are all showing up on the Jag's official website roster now. They have been officially re-signed.

Poehls intrigues me because he's lean but huge. I can see him playing an extra OT in short yardage or even as a blocking TE.

I don't even know what he can do, but when he's on the field he's easily one of the few biggest guys out there.

Not sure what to think of Poehls, as the Jags are his 4th team in a very short period of time.  His size makes him interesting to watch in camp.

Hate to be a stickler for details, but the league site page for the Jaguars' transactions STILL states:

3/22
Corey Grant No Offer Sheet Executed (no offer sheet executed).
Ben Koyack Exclusive Rights Signing (exclusive rights signing).

Please check this page as well:

It also states:

3/22     Corey Grant     RB     No Offer Sheet Executed

I mean what if Corey is refusing to sign the Jaguars' sheet? If he declined to do so, and the Jaguars are PR bluffing until he comes around, Grant really can't do much can he? He can't collect offers and expect the Jaguars to budge.

LOL! For someone who runs their mouth so much you really have no clue how things work.

We have exclusive rights and we exercised those rights. That means he has to sign our offer or he can't play in the NFL. Period.

Signing the offer will give him the biggest payday he has ever had. Holding out does nothing for him. We are the only team he is allowed to play for. The only way he could play for another team is if he signs and then we either cut or trade him.

I think you don't understand. The Jaguars state he SIGNED his offer sheet. The NFL office states "No Offer Sheet Executed".

How hard is it for you to understand?

Corey Grant retweeted that he re-signed with the Jags. The NFL.com writer is slow. Not sure why that is so hard for you to understand.

Exactly. They haven't yet updated a jaguars transaction, which is par for the course.

Grant tweeted a link to this article. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2018/...jacks.html

Why would Corey Grant, the player himself, re-tweet an article that clearly states he has indeed signed the offer from the Jags one day AFTER the last update to that ^^  transaction list?

Wrong.  Corey Grant was a restricted free agent that was offered a 2nd round tender by the Jags.  He had the right to negotiate with other teams and receive an offer.  However, the Jags had the right to match the offer and retain him; if the Jags elected not to match the offer and Grant left the Jags, the acquiring team would have to give the Jags a 2nd round pick.  Koyack, on the other hand, was an exclusive free agent.
