I've been waiting to post my mock draft until the Buffalo Bills ultimately trade up into the top 8 picks, but it's looking more and more likely this won't get done until closer to the draft, So I'm just gonna go ahead and post what I have now. As usual, I do not predict trades, because they are just too hard to anticipate. I should have all the trades included that have already gone down. Once again, this is not what I want to happen in the draft, but it is how I see things playing out. Red type indicates an underclassman. Here goes..........

I could get behind DJ Chark if he's the pick. Gutsy call tho over Isaiah Wynn and Rashaan Evans.
Really not a fan of WR in round 1. Where do you think he gets PT? We PAID 2 guys who obviously won't sit on the bench earning that much coin and there are two exciting 2nd year guys who need to get PT as well. I think Chark would be at best the #4 WR in this group
In this mock I would go:
Rd. 1: Dallas Goedert/Isiah Wynn/Mike Gesicki/Frank Ragnow/Ronnie Harrison/Lamar Jackson
Rd. 2: Hayden Hurst/Shaq Griffin/Braden Smith/Chukwuma Okorofar/Dorance Armstrong/Mark Andrews
Rd. 3: Luke Falk/Joey Jewell/Michael Gallup/Deadrin Senat
Rd. 4: Kalen Ballage/Kyzir White
The rest irdk about so I won't argue you on those

Maybe at first, but I could see him eventually battling Moncrief and possibly taking over the top spot by season's end.

Two more thoughts on the early rounds as I still don't know much after about round two...

1. I'd still have to consider Lamar Jackson at #29.
2. When I saw Goedert and Gesicki getting passed up at #29, at first I thought we need to grab one of them, but then knowing they both dropped makes the chances of Hurst being there for our round two pick even more likely. Getting Hurst in round two in my book is the better bargain so I get taking the risk. Still, it's really tough for me to actually pass on Goedert if he does fall.

I just can't see them putting $10 million guy 2nd fiddle to a rookie in a weak class and then putting the $18 million guy at #3, not to mention Cole falling to the #4 and rarely seeing the field. Then Dede becomes never used and that pick was wasted.
Good stuff.

Haven't looked through it all yet but the John Kelly, Mark Walton and Nyheim Hines in rounds 6/7 seems bananas. Particularly given they are all top 10/15 backs in this class, for me at least.

I'm not a huge Rashaan Evans fan, especially for our defensive scheme. Isaiah Wynn is a LG/LT prospect and moving him to the right side would be a bit of a change. This definitely factored into my decision. My gut tells me we will be looking for a natural RG/RT. I don't know why, but there's just something about Gossett that makes me believe he is our target. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of taking a WR with our first pick, given our QB situation. With Mason Rudolph gone though, Chark shows the most upside of any receiver (WR or TE), in this draft. He has height, speed, athleticism, hands and route running. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he was gone by the time we pick. If he would have been on a college team with more of an emphasis on the passing game or even if he had a somewhat competent QB throwing to him, I really believe he would be the hands down, top receiver in this class. I know this is controversial, but I see more potential upside in him than OBJ.
Solid draft but if I'm the Jags I'm taking Wynn or Guice over Chark. We need help up front and Wynn helps the team more than Chark. Guice over Chark for pure need of offense. They wanna pound da rock and we need a big horse behind LF. If LF goes down with a big injury we ain't pounding da rock with Yeldon and Grant. Not happening.

I think he would be worked in gradually as the X receiver. That is something we are obviously missing for this lineup. He may not start right away, as WR's rarely make an impact their rookie season, especially with the emphasis on the running game, but I truly believe he would be the perfect compliment to Cole and Westbrook, giving us the most dynamic young WR trio in the NFL. He would make Lee expendable, which is what I thought he was already. Lee's skill set or lack thereof, just makes him an odd fit for this offense. I have no idea why he was re-signed to begin with.

Personally, I see no TE worthy of a first round pick and Wynn is a natural LG/LT. I believe we will be looking for a natural RG/RT. I believe Billy Price would be an option before Ragnow. In fact, I almost made Price the selection. Harrison is more of a Strong Safety IMO and if we took a Safety, I believe we'd go with a true Free Safety. I am no fan at all of Jackson. He is a skinny, project QB who relies too much on his running. I believe he is a bad fit for this offense and may never develop as a passer. On top of that, he is an unfinished product who should have stayed in school. Coughlin doesn't like early entries at the QB position. I believe he is targeting a Senior at the QB spot.

Jackson isn't even an option in my mind. He's a skinny, unfinished product at QB and I don't believe he will ever develop as a passer. He should've stayed in school. Coughlin is not a fan of early entries at the QB position either. I believe he covets a Senior signal caller. If Jackson gets chosen in round one by a team, it's purely out of desperation. IMO, drafting Jackson would be the worst mistake we could make at QB. It would be a wasted opportunity to get an immediate starter or future star.

That money we paid Lee was out of desperation and it's really not much considering what other guys got. This was a very weak FA WR class and we didn't want to pay big bucks for a mid tier receiver, when Norwell was apparently our big FA target all along. I believe Dede and Cole would get used the same as they ever would be. Their spots would be safe. Lee would be the odd man out. He just brings nothing special to this offense and would be easily replaceable.

As I said before, I believe we covet a true RG/RT and Wynn has started on the left side his entire college career. For some players changing sides is no big deal and for others it is. Guice? I don't get that one. Fournette is our workhorse and we have very good depth behind him. I'm a huge fan of Rashad Penny, but considering what we already have at RB, I wouldn't even consider him for this team. If we take another RB, I believe it will come via UDFA. There should still be some decent quality on the board after the draft.

IMO, Kelly and Hines are complimentary/3rd down backs, thus pushing them down the board. I just don't see them as "the guy" for an NFL running game. I do believe they will end up being very important pieces, especially as pass catchers out of the backfield. I see them both as "poor man's" Alvin Kamara's. With Walton, the one year out of football and disappointing 40 time, might push him down the board, but if he comes back 100% healthy, he could be a steal.
Glad you like DJ Moore as much as I do, I feel like he's very high in our board due to his relationship with Coach Thunder

That being said, I personally am not a fan of Chark. Just doesn't have the production and I know LSU offense and Etling were bad but I just don't see him being that much more productive due to his limited route tree.

Haven't looked through it all yet but the John Kelly, Mark Walton and Nyheim Hines in rounds 6/7 seems bananas. Particularly given they are all top 10/15 backs in this class, for me at least.

IMO, Kelly and Hines are complimentary/3rd down backs, thus pushing them down the board. I just don't see them as "the guy" for an NFL running game. Pass catching backs are quite valuable in today's NFL. Hines is a legit 4.3 guy who used to be a WR in college. Good blocker and can split out wide. He'll go top 3 rounds.

Kelly and Walton are both very talented runners in their own right. I'd say top 4 rounds for both.
Would rather Goedert, Gesicki, Price, or Ragnow in the first and would sprint to the podium if Gallup was there in the 3rd

To be totally honest, once Rudolph was gone, I wasn't totally on board with any one guy for this pick. I don't project trades, because they are too hard to predict, but if Rudolph is gone as in this scenario and the board falls like it did here, I'd do everything in my power to trade down.

Gallup isn't even quite 6'1" and given what we already have, I wouldn't draft a WR under 6'2". We need big, redzone targets. I don't wanna take shots in the redzone by trying to throw fades to average size receivers. We need to add a big bodied pass catcher to play opposite a couple of TE's in redzone schemes.

This is a huge "so what?" It takes OTs about 4 starts to comfortably change sides. Guards even less. Wynn would be an awesome pick, and I'd take him EASILY over Hernandez.

For some guys it doesn't matter, but for others it does. Sometimes moving to the other end of the line means they have to adjust to using their non-dominant side and it is something they just never get adjusted to. For others, it is no big deal, but it's different for everyone.
Not buying the Josh Sweat hype I guess? I've seen him in the first round in some mocks lately.
